GeneralBlower coil units shall be completelyfactory assembled including coil, conden-sate drain pan, fan, motor, filters andcontrols in an insulated casing that canbe applied in horizontal or verticalconfiguration.

This new line of TWE-C air handlersprovides exclusive compact size com-bined with simple four-way convertibilityin three sizes. The unit ships in the righthand horizontal configuration andconverts to vertical upflow just bystanding the unit on end. No toolsrequired. Simple coil rotation providesdownflow and horizontal left applications.

The four-way convertibility provides youinventory benefits and service/installationflexibility. The simple conversion providesopposite side access for installation andservice.

CasingUnits shall have rugged sheet metal andsteel frame construction and shall bepainted with an enamel finish. Casingshall be insulated and knockouts shall beprovided for electrical power and controlwiring.

Refrigerant CircuitsThe TWE units shall have a singlerefrigerant circuit. TWE03-040C refriger-ant circuit shall be controlled by a flowcontrol check valve (FCCV). TheTWE050C refrigerant circuit shall becontrolled by a factory-installed thermalexpansion valve.

CoilAluminum fin surface shall be mechani-cally bonded to 3/8-inch OD coppertubing. Coils shall be factory pressureand leak tested.

FanForward curved, dynamically andstatically balanced with three-speeddirect drive shall be standard, fan motorbearing shall be permanently lubricated.

ControlsFan contactor, and plug-in module foraccessory electric heat control shall beincluded. TWE models shall also includecheck valves.

FiltersFilters shall be included as standard.

AccessoriesElectric Heaters — Shall be available ina wide range of capacities and voltageswith various staging options and plug incontrol wiring. Heaters shall fit insideinternal compartment.
