MGI’s UVarnish® is the first and only ”push-button” flood UV coater available in the digital graphic market. Easy to use and with the smallest footprint in the industry, the UVarnish is designed to complement both digital and offset printed paper or plastic substrates. Other unique features include an ultra sonic sensor to detect and prevent double feeding, which protects personalized VDP sheets. The UVarnish is environmentally friendly, utilizing an ozone-free UV curing technology. Depending on the type of substrate and intended application, various varnish finishes are available, including glossy and pre-lamination varnish for plastic hot platen lamination. Optional accessory includes a high capacity stacker.
The PressCard Pro® is an industrial lamination unit for paper and plastic substrates, including PVC, polycarbonate, vinyl and synthetic papers. The unique technologies integrated into the unit include individual heating, cooling and pressure control circuits. The PressCard Pro can manufacture plastic cards (ISO CR-80) from 100 up to 850 microns (4 mil up to 34 mil), RFID, labels, signage and many other applications, including clear PVC overlay with embedded magnetic stripes.This compact and industrial hot lamination press is fully automated and operates on an average 25 minute cycle.
MGI’s PunchCard Pro® is a stand-alone, hydraulic finishing unit for paper or plastic cards. Each sheet can be cut into 21 or 24 ISO CR-80 cards (85.5 mm x 54 mm), with rounded corners anda maximum thickness of 0.85 mm / 34 mil / 850 microns. Crop marks are read using integrated fiber optics, which ensures precision die cutting. Cards are automatically retrieved via 3 chimney stackers (3 x 180 cards).
The EnvelopExpress® is the ideal solution for short and medium run jobs, allowing customers to easily integrate four-color process and fully personalized envelope printing capabilities into their digital portfolio. An integrated feeder allows for continuous delivery, which maximizes output volume without interruption of the product cycle. The EnvelopExpress can accommodate envelopes in a wide variety of sizes, ranging from 100 mm x 140 mm / 4” x 5.5” to 315 mm x 360 mm / 12.4”x 14.2”.
