Cognitivism Cognitive Learning Theory is an approach

to the study of learning that focuses on the thought processes that underlie learning.

It is sometimes called brain-based learning. Some major contributors were Jean Piaget,

Leslie Hart, David P. Ausubel, Jerome Bruner and Robert Gagné.
