Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards 2020 Multiparty Collaboration The Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the impacts achieved through academic and business partnerships – apply now and show Scotland how innovative businesses, universities, research institutes and colleges are leading the way towards economic growth, societal improvements and environmental advances. Multiparty Collaboration Award 2020 This award is open to groups and consortia involving three or more parties working together on an innovative research project and include a research partner from Scottish academia and at least one business. Applications should demonstrate innovation and impact as a result of working together to solve a common challenge while also having a significant benefit for each individual party involved. All businesses that are part of a multiparty group or consortium and have collaborated with a Scottish academic institute within the last five years (relationship initiated from 1 August 2014), are eligible to apply. This must be a minimum of three individual parties that have come together to address a specific challenge or opportunity that is innovative and relevant to industry. We encourage applications from groups of businesses working together with an academic partner or a business working with an academic and civic partner. While projects involving more than three parties that have been supported by industry-focused research or innovation centres are eligible, the industry-focused research or innovation centres themselves will not be eligible to apply.
