Definition:Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the central nervous system (CNS); it damages the protective coating around the nerve fibers (myelin) which transmit messages to all parts of the body. This disease considered as (autoimmune disease).

Main symptoms of MS

1.Vision abnormalities:

-blurred vision.-inflammation of the optic nerve .-involuntary eye movement or eye pain .

2.Bladder and bowel dysfunction:

-urgency to urinate.

-incontinence.

-constipation .

3-Sexual dysfunction:

-painful intercourse.

-loss of sexual sensitivity.

4-Pain and Muscle

weakness.

5-Fatigue and dizziness.

Summary

-Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease, it is occur in central nervous system.

-There are many different types of MS: relapsing-remitting MS, primary progressive ,Benign MS and Secondary progressive MS.

-Each person with MS has a slightly different clinical (and symptom) profile.

-There are some commonly recommended for MS patients such as eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and resting.
