Dan Truckey –July 1: 7p-9p
Dan has been on the music scene in the U.P. for years and continues to be a major force in or-
ganizing music events in Marquette, when he is not on the job as Director of NMU Beaumier
Heritage Center . He plays guitar and belts out originals and classics! Tonight he leaves his mu-
sician brothers and band members at home for a solo gig!
Mystery Loves Company-July 15: 7p-9p Mystery Loves Company is a touring and recording Chamber Rock band from Hou-ston, Texas, whose diverse musical influences create an edgy and lyrical sound which continues to garner attention in the local and national music scene. Guitarist Carlos A. Machado and cellist Madeline Herdeman combine vocally and instrumen-tally to produce a layered and intricate musical experience that translates seamlessly from the studio to the stage.
Dennis Palmer-July 8: 7p-9p
Born & raised near Saginaw, Michigan. Dennis grew up listening to his parent’s music, artists
such as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Nat King Cole and the Everly Brothers. Den-
nis obtained his "15 minutes of fame" in 1998 by winning a National songwriter contest for the
song Bird of Prey. Dennis showcases his eclectic songwriting with original songs ranging from
Acoustic Blues to Contemporary Folk. All proceeds support Alger Regional Food Pantry.
Superior String Alliance Chamber Players –July 22: 7p-9p
Comprised of the Superior String Alliance Camp Faculty, the SSA Chamber Players per-
form their music in art galleries, bookstores, cafes, museums, and old opera houses in multi-ple communities so that people from all corners of the U.P. can enjoy the art of string cham-ber music. The SSA Chamber Players perform diverse chamber music, often switching mood, genre, and instrumentation throughout the performance. 2017's Summer Tour will include many classical works influenced by folk music from around the world.

Folias Flute Guitar Duo-July 29, 7p-9p
The Folias Duo’s fifteen year performer/composer collaboration has taken this no-madic husband and wife duo to stages throughout the United States and around the globe. They have a fearless approach to developing new original compositions for flute and guitar, an expertise for arrangements of Argentine tango, and a pas-sion for South American folk.
