German Film Week Manila 2018November 6 – November 11

The German Film Week is a showcase of the latest and the hottest to come out of the Germancinema market in the past two years. Now on its third edition, the festival features a roster of10 full-length feature films that offer movie buffs a chance to delve into the rich variety ofGerman cinema.

The German Film Week opening night takes place at SM Aura Cinema 2 on Nov 6 with the openingmovie Only God Can Judge Me (Nur Gott Kann Mich Richten) directed by Özgür Yildirim, starringthe famous German actor Moritz Bleibtreu.

The succeeding film screenings will run from November 7 to November 11 at SM Aura and SM NorthEDSA for Metro Manila. (Subsequent screenings will take place in Baguio, Cebu and Cagayan de Oroin November.)

Tickets to the 2018 GERMAN FILM WEEK are priced at 100 Php for all films. The opening screeningon November 6 is free and open to all on a first-come-first-served basis

4th Danish Film FestivalNovember 8 – November 11

From the 8th to 11th of November, nine carefully chosen full-length films will be hitting thescreens, four of which for the first time ever in the Philippines. This is your chance to enterinto the peculiar yet realistic, and uncharacteristically influential realm of Danish cinema

As part of Danish and Philippine cultural relations, a special screening of Dagsin, a multi-awarded Indie Movie by Filipino Filmmaker Atom Magadia. Inspired by the ideas of DanishPhilosopher Søren Kierkegaard and French Existentialist Albert Camus will be shown during thecourse of the festival.

Admission is FREE and on a first come, first served basis.















QC International Pink Film Festival 2018November 14 – November 25

Now on its 3rd year, and after a 2-year hiatus, the QC INTERNATIONAL PINK FILM FESTIVAL returnson November 14-25.

The festival will showcase international and local critically acclaimed LGBTQ+ films.Accompanying the screenings, there will be seminars on the issues of LGBTQ+ community primarilyon health and human rights.

Italian Cinema from Venice to ManilaNovember 14 – November 18

The second edition of ITALIAN CINEMA FROM VENICE TO MANILA will showcase nine films from the47th Venice International Film Festival (2017). It will be a unique opportunity for film loversof all ages to appreciate the best of Italian films selected by the oldest and among the mostauthoritative film festivals in the world.

Tickets cost P150, with a discounted ticket price of P100 for students.

Every film will be shown at all three Ayala Malls venues participating in the film festival:U.P. Town Center (Quezon City), Central Square (BGC), and Greenbelt 3 (Makati), making the filmfestival accessible to filmgoers all over Metro Manila.

In order to share with Cinema students and young film-makers the Italian know-how in threespecific fields of the film-making, 3 masterclasses will be also held on November 12 to 14:
