The Concert choral highlight is Mozart's Requiem, written in late 1792. Unfinished by Mozart this isamongst the greatest and most loved of all Requiems.Exciting, moving and challenging to perform andequally satisfying to listen to.

Beethoven's powerful and innovative Emperor PianoConcerto is the main orchestral work. The beautifulslow, inner, movement transcends the Classical Form

to the Romantic idiom and ensured that all musicthat followed was Romantic in the true sense of theword in the world of music. It has been used in suchfilms as Picnic at Hanging Rock and The King's Speech.
