Make-up is used to portray the emotion/mood of the artists storyline, helpingto express a message.

    Goodwins Theory

The artists voice:Pitbull has a unique voice, a trademark of which where he highlights his recordcompany Mr Worldwide & Mr 305. Only he promotes thisand anyone who haslistened to his music, could recognise this at the beginning of each of his songs orsongs he features in.

Amplifying Lyrics:When listening to this song I feel the only amplified lyrics in this song is Its GoingDown Which is regularly repeated throughout the song. To me this could mean atparties, people are forced/ peer pressured to step out of their comfort zone and trynew things, e.g. Drink heavily, dancing, mixing with new people and even do drugs, which all could relate to the amplified lyrics.

Voyeurism:I feel as though this music video definitely includes Voyeurism, the music video itselfperforms sexual dancing, little clothing and sexual references (in this case, boobgrabbing from the female artist*). The music video promotes partying, dancing, love-making and drinking.

*This can also relate to the Barthes Code and as there trying to keep a lid of whatparties are actually like compared what the artists are trying to promote. The quickboob grab quickly comes into shot and then quickly out of shotas though the musicvideo are leaving clues to what modern parties are commonly like, as well as anyother sexual references in this music video, such as sexual poses are editing in a

slow-motion to create that Males gaze.

    Barthes Code

I think the Hermeneutic Codecould represent this music videoas the musicstrongly promotes partying and that its a good social event. However it doesntreveal what parties are really like to teenssuch as heavy drinking, dancing, love-making and even drug use. Yet this video doesnt really emphasis any of these, itsas though the artists are trying to promote a controlled party and not to let go out of

handwhich I feel as though the video is lying to the modern parties that teensattend.
