Members include Darren Quam (guitar), Todd Biederman (bass, Piano), Madicyn Monsrud (bass, Piano), and Matt Jacoby (Drums). Saturday, July 28 12PM (noon) Sierra Branson https://www.facebook.com/sierra.branson.75 Although she has only been playing guitar for a couple of years, Sierra is a passionate musician/ songwriter whoʼs songs are in the “Alternative/ Indie” genre category that leans towards romance; both light and dark sides. She also performs with her ukulele as well as her guitar and has an amazing vocal range that can be both soothing and haunting. Sierra is currently writing songs for her debut album. 1:30PM Taylor Paige https://www.facebook.com/taylor.paige.77985741 Taylor started playing guitar at the age of 12. Her mentor joined her up with three other girls her age and formed a group named “The Torn Roses” which performed at area events and music festivals in and around the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota area for a couple of years. After the demise of the Torn Roses, Taylorʼs love of music became her driving passion and she continued to write songs and perform. Now at the age of 17, she has released two albums and is currently working on her third. She was the recipient of the 2017 Celebration of Women and Their Music Awards for “Best Song writing and Performance” and also the “Soul Sister” for being most passionate, in the teen category. Pat called up DL local, Dan Thornby, the morning of the show and asked him to join for a few songs which turned into a three hour impromptu duo set. The Lenertz/ Thornby Duo was born! Pat has been playing professionally around the Fargo-Moorhead area for almost twenty years. His groups include Heavy Is The Head, The Quarterly, and The Pat Lenertz Band. Musical styles include blues, rock ʼn roll, folk, country, and reggae. Dan has been playing professionally around Detroit Lakes for over ten years in Hardwood Groove. This electrifying jam band plays all genres of music and have their crowds dancing all night long.The duo comes together very naturally. Lived in Detroit lakes for 12 years. Have lived in Perham for last 3 1/2 years. Work at Swan Machine as a CNC machine operator. Spin many toys such as; poi, Death Star poi, 5ʼ staff, giant sparklers, along with l.e.d. Poi from time to time. Love music and use it in all of my shows. Never two shows exactly alike. In Memory of Frank Prout March 20, 1946 – July 30, 2017 Frank Prout lived a life of music and loved playing at Muskie Days with Terrapin Brothers. While too weak to play last year, Frank could be seen beaming with joy as the music played last year at Muskie Days. He will be remembered for his great love of music, friends and life.
