As you prepare for worship, consider these words from Mother Teresa,

"We fear the future because we are wasting the today." Mother Teresa.

If we live today, we see what God has given us today, we address the problems of

today, we enjoy the blessings of today; we will experience less fear and more joy.

What are you carrying this morning? Are you fearful? Allow God’s presence right

now to be your focus as you experience worship, today.

Next Week

Anger, murder, sex, lust, forgiveness, purity. Next week, we’ll hear Jesus take

on some pretty emotionally charged behaviors. While these words were spoken

and written about 2000 years ago, they are just as relevant today as they were

back then. Invite your family and friends to join us as we continue our study in

the Sermon on the Mount. If you know someone who struggles with anger,

lust, forgiveness, this would be a great time to invite them to church. They will

find healing as we pursue Christ together.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been bringing their CRV recycling to Monte Vista for April's Angels over the years. It has been a great blessing and very much appreciated. At this point, however, please discontinue dropping your cans and bottles at the church for recycling. Again, it's a joy to have such a Chris-tian community who has cared so much to take part in supporting us with even these "little" things.
