A beloved street culture retail and gallery spot in the heart of Japantown, Cukui (http://www.cukui.com/) , is set

to host a solo art (http://www.examiner.com/topic/art) show by none other than local skateboarding

(http://www.examiner.com/topic/skateboarding) legend Steve Caballero. This icon has been involved in

skateboarding from the start, with everything from Bones Brigade to his timeless shoe line with Vans.

His latest showing will include pop-art and illustration in his

signature mixed-media style. DJ Goldenchyld of the

Bangerz will be on hand to set the mood so come check

out the new works and mingle with the devoted skate and

art set of the South Bay this coming Friday, March 11 from

7-10 p.m. at 229 Jackson St., San Jose 95112.
