My Adventures in World War 2

I heard the news that the war will soon start. And so I hide

with my family in a city, we should have got on the train to the

countryside, but because of me only half of us were safe. Because

of me, I was very angry of myself.

Jamie, lets go to the safe place, now! Dad told me at one

night. Get Sally, Martha, Peter, and Jack out from their beds, the

germens is coming! Mom shouted to me. I was the eldest, so

they thought I was the one who should take care of the kids more

than anything, also when it was time when danger was coming. I

ran upstairs to get my brothers and sisters, then when I got there,

I heard explosions near our street. Guys, wake up! Get out from

your beds!

Whats wrong? Sally asked, Lets have more sleep.

No! Wake up!

Jamie, youre crazy today, nothing is going to! Then an

explosion happen near, our house windows broke with might.

Hide for your lives! Martha screamed out loud. All the kids ran

around the room, trying to hide themselves. Guys, get out, we

have to go to the basement! Get out from here, follow me! I

shouted out loud so they could hear me. But they did nothing,

they were all doing the same crazy thing that I said to stop. I

could not handed it any longer, so I grabbed Sally and Peter. The

next thing that happen was dad and mom running in the room to

get us out and go to the safe place. Children, fallow Jamie, now!

Dad shouted out. Run! That made us

run. I showed the kids where to go, then when I checked if

everybody was here, Jack was gone! Dad! Jack is gone! Dad and

mom ran up stairs and I fallowed them. At the room Jack waslooking at the airplanes from the window. Airplane. He said as

he pointed his finger to the plain. Then, something was falling

from the plane. Jack! No! Mom and dad shouted as they tried to

help Jack to go to the safe place, they were too late. When I saw

that last moment, I knew this happen because of me. I should

have known that Jack was missing, I should have known that. The

same world and voice came in to my head, Airplane, Jake! No! I

came into the basement and sat on the ground with the kids.Jamie, what happen to mom and dad? And Jack?

Theythey just ran away.

Where did they go?

To heaven.

Dont lie.

Its true.

No. Thats not true. Dad and mom never leaves us! Youre a

liar!

What? A Liar? I am not a liar! I am telling you guys the truth. And

if you like the news or not, it happen! Its the past! We cant

change the past!

Shut your mouth before I do it for you! The kids where angry at

me that night. We ate can food and drank water. The basement

was cold, but it was better than outside later getting killed. We

had blankets, mom made them. But the thing was I did not want

to look at it at all. The kids hugged it and was happy about it. And

they did talk about me. About I was mean, have hard feelings,

and also thinks that Im pretty but not. That was not true at all,

because with my pimples, I think I am a monster. And boys, well,

they didnt think of inviting me to a date. And that stinks, becauseyoure lonely, you have no fun, and also feel left out. But thats

another story. My remained family were cold, but with a can of

worm chicken soup, it wormed them up in no time. But I did not

drink it, I was angry, dirty, and sad. So I did not feel to eat at that

moment. The noisy explosions continue on and on. And I was

angry about that. But as long as Im safe from

that, l shut my mouth and went to sleep.

The next day I knew the train will come. So I packed all the

things we would need. The kids where very sad to leave their

home but I just made them forget all about it. I packed water,

bread, and a long but thin blanket. But most of all I put my small

diary, it fit just right in the bag because it was just two inches tall.

Sally wanted to take her toy rabbit with her, so I said yes. I got all

the money our family had in the destroyed house, all the money

was just 18dollars. Then I lead the family to the train we had to

go. The place was full of children and men and women. It washard to get to the place we need to go. Hey, everyone, hold

hands and never let go until I said to. I said to the kids. Then a

boy was running with a small young boy. The police where

chasing them. Get those boys! They did not gave us the money

to buy the tickets! I saw that the boys where wearing ragged

clothes, this made me think that I should help them. But the cops

got them and then kicked them out of the train station. I got to

the boys and looked at them. Are you guys poor?

Yes

Then I will help you. I have one more ticket, I will buy one more.

Thank you. I walked to the ticket man and asked for a ticket.

How much is a ticket?

It will be 1dollar.

Thank you. I walked back to the boy and gave him the ticket.

Ummmwe should go to the train, I think its almost

time for the train to leave.

Ok then. Sit with us it would be fun.

Sure, we will. We got to the train and we found a spot. We just

fit right too. Whos that young gentleman you have?

Hes Sam, my brother. Our parents died from the explosion last

night. What happen to your parents?

They died the same way like your parents died.

Sorry to hear that. My name is Fred. How about you?

The train was starting to move and I open my diary and

started to draw the fields that I saw outside of my window. As the

train moved I started to see less houses and more trees. And kids

were leaving the train. So it was soon very quiet. I notice mom

told me about where we were sent. She said it was a place far

away and she said it was a small house that has lots of children.

Hey, Jam. I looked up from my drawing and faced Fred. What?

Hear. He handed me a piece of chocolate.Where did you have

it?

I am actually rich, but after the explosion, I loosed a lot of

money.

To a small house with lots of children. And I think we will have toleave the train soon.

I wonder how it would look like.

Me too. I then heard the ticket man shouting out the place we

need to go. Lets go. This is the place. We got off the train and

we started to wait on the sidewalk. Nobody was near at all. The

only thing we could see was just sand, trees, and lakes. Did we

have a mistake or something? Theres nobody but us. Peter said,kicking dirt run his shoes. I think hes right. Martha said. They

should have someone who would have to come and get us from

this place.

Yes, thats what I tried to say.

Why dont we just wait before we wound up. I said to everyone.Time past and it became dark. And soon you could see

thousands of stars in the dark sky. The kids started to get sleepy

and hungry. Im hungry. I need food. And I need water! Peter

started to cry. Im sleepy. Martha said. I need to go to the

bathroom. And quick! Sally said. When am I going to get my

teeth brushed? Sam asked. They all started to

surround me like I was their mother. Ok, one at a

time. Sally, go there and get a leaf to wipe it off.

Martha, here is a blanket. Peter, here is a piece ofbread. Dont eat all of it. Sam, sorry, I have nothing to

do with your teeth. Everyone did what I said to do,

and it worked pretty good. Everybody wash their hands by the

river. I said next. Everybody did it and we started to eat. The

bread was only 12inches long so everyone ate 2inches each. The

water ran out and so we drank the water from the lake. When is

that lady coming? Fred asked. I dont know at all Fred. I think

we should wait until tomorrow. Then, we heard bikes coming.Martha woke up and was scared of the sound. All the kids were

frightened of the sound and the shadows.Jam, Fred said.

What?

Run! I put Peter on Freds back. And then put Martha on mine.

Run guys run! I shouted to the others. We ran to the road and

across the river. But the bikes were still after us. Stop! Im a

woman who is looking for children. Do you know where theyare?The person on the bike asked. We stopped. Were the ones

you are looking for. I answered. Then what are you running for?

Get on the wagon that I am pulling ,children.

Ok.

We rode her small wagon and soon got to a small house.

Then children started to come out from the house. There were 20

of them. 10 of them are like you guys but the other are indanger. The germens want to catch them because of their belief.

And I need to go for a long journey.

Why?

To get medicine. 15 of them are sick you know.

I know. I need to go on Monday and today is Saturday.

Lets seeOh, I will first introduce you guys, then eat, thendance, and for last brush your teeth and go to bed.

Yes!!! Sam shouted. That kid of yours sure loves to brush his

teeth. I dont know why.

Now, we are here! She let us get out of the wagon and kids

stared at us. Its ok kids. They are just gests. I notice 10 of

them were only 8 years old, 5of them 13 years old, and the other

five were the same age as Fred and me. Kids, lets go inside so I

can introduce the new children that will join us. The woman said.

The woman lead us inside the house. Inside was clean and nice.

There was also a fireplace to keep you worm. Then she took us to

a place called the community room. All the kids sat on the floor

and so did we. Kids, I will love to introduce the new kids that will

join us. Tell me your names as you come up to me. Everyonecould ask a question to that person.Sam was first to go up. My

name is Sam. And my parents died from an explosion from

yesterday night. My favorite color is yellow and it would be nice to

have new friends that I could make. Then one of the 8yearold

girl asked him a question. How old are you?

Sally. My favorite color is white. When I grow up, I will marry with

a prince that is rich and handsome. A 13year old boy started to

ask a question. Are you rich.

that means youre not going to marry with a prince if youre

Eric! the woman yelled at him. Yes, Mrs. Woods. Next was

Peter. My name is Peter. I will kill people that hurts my families

feelings if I grow up. And I also already choose someone for

revenge. Peter cracked his fist as he looked at Eric. Next was

Fred. My name is Fred. I used to be rich but I am not anymore.

Sam is my younger brother. I hope I make friends in here. What

would you do if you are rich again? Asked Mrs.Woods. I wouldrun far away that is safe and make my new life. And then for last

was me. My name is Jamie. You can call me Jam if you want to.

The other three kids are my sisters and brother. My favorite color

is bloody red. I wish I could have a great time hear. Then one of

the 16 year olds, which is my age asked me a question: that kid

Ok. That was it. Then it was timeto eat. Mrs. Woods made us go outside. She set up a table

and put sets. She made bread, chicken soup, grape juice, and

cow meat. Can we sit anyplace we want Mrs. Woods? Sam

asked Mrs. Woods. Of course you can you little pumpkin.

Youre welcome pumpkin. Sam sat next to Sara. Sara started to

talk with him as they both laugh about something. I just sat next

to Martha and Sally, who were sitting next to Sam. Peter was

already eating next to me. Peter, you forgot to pray. Sally said.

I dont care, Im starving right now you see.

All right then, I guess you hate god.

No I dont!

Then why are you not praying then? Peter dropped whatever hewas holding and started to pray. Done. Peter said, Now I can

eat, right?

Yes. Sally said. You can. Peter started to eat his cow meat

which he loved so much. Where is Fred? Peter asked Sam. Sam

looked around. I dont know. I thought he was right behind me.

Where would he be? I looked around by myself too. The only

thing I could see who was missing was Fred. I think I should ask

Mrs. Wood about this. I said. I got out of my seat and walked to

Mrs. Wood. Do you know where is Fred?

He has detention.

Hes in the bathroom. I told him not to come out until we were

done eating.

Ok then. Thank you for telling what happen to him. I walked

away. Why would Fred beat Marten up? Was he jealous? I decided

to ask some of the kids that I knew so far. When I got back to myseat, I told my family and Sam of what happen to Peter. Then we

made a plan to work out together. We need to know why Peter

fought with Marten. Sam said. We should split up and find some

clues. Sally Said. And ask some of the kids. Peter said. This is

fishy. Martha said. I feel the same Martha. I said. Why dont

you do this? Sara said, Martha and Sam find clues. Peter and I

will ask kids. Jamie can try to find out why Marten ask you a wired

question. And this is serious.

I like you when you say the word serious Sara. Sam said. Ok

When should we start it? I ask the kids. On Sunday. Peter

said.

Its dance time ladies and gentlemen. Mrs. Wood said.

Fred came out from the house in the same time. Freds face was

red and Marten had a smile on his face. Fishy it was, fishy

Jamie and the new girls come with me to the house for a surprise

please. We fallowed Mrs. Wood. Mrs. Wood showed me a pink

dress. Its beautiful Mrs. Wood. Thank you very much for this

dress.

I knew that you would love it. This is a present for coming here

Dont worry; I made them dolls with nice dresses on them.

I used to be a designer, but later on when the war started, I had

to close it. And also I wanted to help children so I got this house.

They have a dress but this is a different one, but careful not to

stretch it too much, its tender.

Youre welcome dear. I got to the bathroom and changed in to

my new dress. I was pretty, but that was my opinion.

When I got outside and when people saw me, I was feeling

happy. And I felt famous. Mrs. Wood got out a music player and

she turned it on. It played an exciting song witch made you want

to dance with a partner. Sam started to dance with Sara, Sally

danced with a boy she just meet, Martha danced with Peter. It

was amazing, but I did not have a partner. I had no choice at all; I

grabbed Freds arms and started to dance with him. Fred made a

weird face when I made him grab my hand. But I did not care atall. We spanned, jumped, ran, dace slow, dance fast, and dance

to the music. Fred stopped making his weird face and started to

have fun dancing with me. Having fun? I asked him with joy.

Then lets keep dancing.

Ok then. We dace until Marten cut in. Marten first pushed Fred

then started to dance with me. But I stopped and then smacked

his face and helped Fred off from the ground. Are you ok, Fred?

Ya, sure, Im fine. But then I saw blood coming from his head

from the hard rocky ground. Ill call Mrs. Wood. I told Fred. And

then before he answered, I ran to Mrs. Wood. Whats wrong? Did

the dress have ripped or something dear?

No, Fred is bleeding on the head.

Oh dear, that is bad. Mrs. Wood ran to Fred and checked his

head. Everyone, lets stop dance now! She shouted to the kids.

When we got in the house it started to rain like crazy. Mrs.

Wood was searching for fabric to stop Fred from bleeding.

Everyone was all surrounded around the fireplace and soon Fred

stopped from bleeding any more. Everyone should go to sleep

now, but remember to brush your teeth. We all brushed our

teeth. And I was wondering were to sleep. The girls will go to theleft side room; the boys should go to the right side room. The girls

and I went to the room we need to go. The room was filled with

pillows and blankets to sleep on. I choose a place and did the

other girls. We later on went to sleep.

The next day was another day. I woke up and brushed my

teeth with the girls and then put on a blue dress with a blue

ribbon on that I found under my pillow the morning I found when I

woke up. The dress was losing its color, but it did not matter to

me at all. We went to the room that was called the eating room

where you just shut up and eat, or you would get in trouble for

being rude. But that stinks to me, I wanted to talk and make

friends as fast as possible. Then we had to go outside and explore

the nature, which sounded fun. I started to talk with my gangs we

walked around the fields. Did you found anything about

Marten? I asked the gang. I do, I think he loves you Jam. Fred

said. Thats weird.

I think its true. Sara said, He first asked you if you had time.

A date I guess.

Thats totally weird, Sara.

I hope I punch him in the eye when he pushes me again. Fred

said cracking his fists. I know what youre thinking of Fred.

I knoAhhhhhh! I fell into something. I got up and looked

around. I was getting washed by the river. Help! I yelled out.

Fred and the others chased me. But the river was faster, I was

about to drown when I bumped into a boat. The boat was smalland I saw a cave too at the same time. I got on the boat, in the

middle of the river. The boat was tied to a rope, the end of the

rope disappeared into the cave. Jamie! Are you alright? Sally

asked as the gang came to the shore. How can we get you out

from their? Peter asks. Pull the rope. I answered. The gang

started to pull the grope as I wondered what was inside the cave.

When the boat got to shore, I got out from it. Thanks. Lets go

into the cave. I wonder whats inside there.

I dont think should do that. Peter said. But why? Dont you

even want to know whats inside in that we cave? There might be

treasure in that thing!

But what if there are bears in there?

There are no wild animals in this place peter. Sara said. Oh, all

right. Fred led the way into the cave. We could hear the water

rolling down the rocks and touching our shoes. I feel weird inhear. Sally said. Me too. Sam Said, shivering. I also feel the

creeps too. He said again. But I love the sound of the water

making theses nice noises you see. Sara said humming to the

beat of the water rolling down the rocks. Its cold; do you think

you are getting cold water? I asked. I do. Fred said. Its cold

like ice.

What do you think it is? Martha asked. I think cold water. I

said. Then we heard a crunch behind us. Whos there? Sally

shouted. Another crunch sound soon came again. Whos there?

I shouted. Then I heard Peter screaming. Help!

Peter! Martha cried. Where are you? Then I heard another

noise. Help me! It was Sara and Sally. Help! It was Sam. No!

Someone help! Martha yelled with fear. Where are you guys? I

shouted. Then something hard hit my head, and then I fell to the

ground. Then I heard a big thump on Fred too. Then the onlything I notice that I knew was that we fainted.

I open my eyes and then saw an old lady. I am so sorry!

She said. We were all in a worm small house. I thought you kids

were the bad guys and I was almost to kill you. She showed me

her club. Its ok. I said back. I looked at the

others. They were all awake. Are you ok? I asked Fred. I think I

got hit by that club. He said. Me too.

Before I let you go, I need to tell you something very important.

What is it? Peter asks. The germens are coming here soon.

And I want to help you guys too.

But how? Sam asks. Stay in my house. It is very safe in here.

But we have to help others.

Ok, then how many are the others then?

Oh my, I have only 20places for kids.

Sure, but before you go, hear is a map of the cave. This map will

help you when you want to come in this cave. This is where you

are at. You are at the way back of the cave. Its safe there too.

Fallow the map to go your way children. She led us out of the

house, It will help you, like a guard. Then she shut the door. I

looked at the map; it was losing its color like my dress.

We soon notice that we were late for our dinner and supper,it was night when we came out of the cave. I think we are going

to have big trouble. Sara said shivering from the cold. Me too,

Peter said , I can feel it. And that was right, when we got there,

it was 11p.m. before we could creep in the door, the lights turned

on. You guys are in trouble! Mrs. Wood said. Where have you

guys been?!

We are so sorry Fred started to say. No sorry young man!

Because of you children, I was worried to death! Tonight, no food

at all, now go to bed! Now!

Wait Mrs. Wood, I can explain this

Go to bed!

But!

Go to your beds before I make you kids sleep outside and makesure the germens get you! That made us run upstairs with fright.

Even you think she was nice, she was sometimes a very mean

teacher that does not listen to you at all. The time when I got to

the room, all the girls thought I was out on a date with Fred, and

that totally made me angry. Then I punched a pillow to relic my

stress. And then I notice I made a hole in my pillow. All the girls

shut up when they saw the pillow. And that gave me a good night

sleep.

Everyone, I will go to get medicine for your kids that are

sick. Be careful not to open the door for strangers. And I hope you

will be nice to each other, I will come back on Friday night. I left

the food on the table; eat a little bit each day. That is all the food

we have. I will also bring lots of food too. If the germens find you,

hid anywhere that is safe, clean, and hard for the germens to find

you. If the germens get you,I will never forgive myself. But you

should try to run away from them, but remember, they have guns

that we do not have. But I a gun in the attic, use it for only

emergency. Please be safe while I am gone children, please!

Mrs. Wood told us that before she left the next day. And I was

worried what would happen if the germens got you with guns.

Would I have to just die? This would be hard, very hard. Looks

like Mrs. Wood is gone, and what should we do? Sara shouted

out loud to the kids in the room. Should we eat again? Should we

sleep? Or should we Then Marten ended the sentence for her.Or should we play? He said. He got up to the table and shouted

out loud, If you guys want to play, fallow me!

Youre crazy! Mrs. Wood said to just do what she said! And

youre not sure if the! Martha started to say. Those crazy

Germens will not find us, chicken.

Hey! Thats mean! Sam shouted out to him. So what pig

nose!

Nobody says pig nose to him Marten, so shut up! Sally and

Peter said in the same time. Do you chickens want to fight with

me? Ok, come on.

Ok, you crazy half eaten frog, Im ready! I shouted to him.

Youre just a girl, I dont hit girls.

Oh ya? I punched his nose with all my might. Blood started tocome dripping from his nose. Listen, Mrs. Wood said to be nice

and quiet to each other, and you know, remember what she said

about the germens. Then I kicked him on the leg. Then I ran

outside to the river that I fell in the other day. I looked around to

make sure nobody was watching me at all. Is that you kid? I

looked around and there stood the old lady. I forgot to ask your

name yesterday miss.

Oh, its just Obi.

Cool name.

There just in the house.

Ok dear. She got out a crystal ball out from her bag she was

holding while she was picking barriers. She but it on top of a

stone and she started to say interesting words from her own

balls color started to change into purple and then black. Oh, I

see it! I can see it! She shouted as her eyes were closed with

fear. What is it? I asked to her. I see aa German that

betrayed you and is trying to kill

Im sorry, the time is over. Odi open her eyes and looked at me

with sorrow. What? I asked. He dies.

I cant tell you. I walked away. Why would she not tell me? I

wondered and wondered. I picked some cherries from a tree and I

walked to a small tree and sat under it. I looked around the grass;

I saw a rabbit with her six bunnies. I notice they were looking for

food. Then I notice a cat was walking by. The cat was ready to

jump, and I got a stick and hit it on the back. The rabbits were

afraid of me so they hopped away. I notice a bunny was bleeding

and could not run away. Aw, you poor thing. I held it in my

hands. A leg was bleeding. I got to a river and washed her then

ripped a piece of cloth and wrapped it around her leg. Then I fedher all 3cherries that I had. She looked happy and I thought she

like me so I took her with me back to the house.

I soon knew everyone fallowed Marten when I got inside,

the room was a mess. There were food on the flour, drawings on

the walls and also smelly socks on the tables. And most of all, it

was noisy. The bunny made her ears flat and closed her eyes

tight. I was so angry. I went to my room and checked if it was

clean and quiet. And it was. There were vegetables and meat to

eat. The rabbit looked right at the carrots and the othervegetables. I took her to the vegetables and looked at her eat. I

started to eat the chicken with joy. I notice she was eating with

joy too. Joy, I thought. It would be a right name for her. So I

named her joy. Ok Joy, are you done eating? The rabbit looked

at me and was interested in me. She scrambled to my lap and

started to sleep. I smiled. I got a basket and put towels in it. Then

I put vegetables and a milk bottle in it. I put the bunny in the

basket and covered her up. The basket had holes so the boneywould breath. I then made the bathroom too. I also wrote my

name so kids wont mess with it. I put it inside my drawer. And

then I locked it. I went down stairs to look for the other guy.

I did not found them after a long time because it was so

messy. I found them in the attic which had had lots of towels.

Why are you guys here?

Marten said if he saw us would be in big trouble.

Oh, come on, hes just a kid.

Ya, but he stole the gun and he said he would shut us if we were

downstairs.

Whatever, I will go talk with him Then I heard a thump, I

looked around. Joy was crawling up the stairs. Joy! I shouted I

hold her then held her in my arms. Whats that? Sally said. Itsa rabbit that I found; she broke her leg, so I am taking care of

her.

Thats nice. Peter said. Sara, can you take care Joy a while, Ill

go see Marten, but I will steal the gun and destroy it.

I got down stairs and saw Marten in a chair, sleeping. Ok,

Jamie, get the gun from his hands. I stretched my fingers to get

the guns tip. I then got the hold of it! I smiled and tried to get my

hand away from Marten, but! Marten open his eyes and grabbed

my arm. I tried to punch him in the nose again, but I miss. Then,

my gang came running down stairs. Marten looked at them and

tried to get the gun from me, but I keep hold of it. Fred! I

shouted and I threw the gun to him. When Marten was looking at

that, I punched him in the nose, right in the middle. I ran to Fredand the gang. This is not over! Marten said as he ran outside.

Ok, guys, lets start clean up. Before Marten the crazy dose

something stupid. Sam shouted to the kids. And magically, the

kids did start to clean. I started to turn on a pop song to make the

kids have fun as they do work. The kids started to dance as they

clean things up, the girls washed and swapped, the boys took the

garbage away and make the beds and fix things. Some of the kids

dance boy and girl. It was an amazing sight! And soon everything

was as clean as new. And also, the whole house was clean when

the music stopped.

All of us got to the table to eat. And this time inside the

house. We were having a great time until when we heard three

bikes coming towards the house. All the kids looked outside the

window. Its the germens! All the kids shouted. Everyone,

listen to Jamie please. Sara shouted. All the kids looked at meagain. Guys, you all should fallow Sara to a cave, dont make any

noise as best as you can, and now! I shouted to them, Sara,

take joy with you, the rest of my gang will stay here. All the kids

ran away, and we were left. And we heard a knock too. Sally toke

Ok, heres the plan, we get out from the house, we go to Odi,

ride her boat to a town further far away from this place. Im cretin

that there would have soldiers to protect us. I tied the rope to a

giant bed and then throw the other end out of the window. Who

will go first? I asked. No, before we go, why dont we check if

the germens are sleeping? Sally asked. Ok, Fred, you go.

Ok, while I am distracting them, you guys go to Odi and ride theboat and save youre selves.

Ok. Sam, go. Sam holds tight on the rope and went down.

Martha. Martha slipped and fell, but she got caught from Sam.

Sally. Sally slide down easily. Peter. Peter looked down

nervously to the rope to the ground. I cant. Leave without me.

Go! I said and pushed him down to the rope as he slide down

the rope with a great whish. I slide down the rope next. Then,when we were about to run, Marten was in front of us. He smiled.

They are here! He shouted. Run! I shouted to the kids. We ran

to the field as we heard bikes chasing after us. We kept on

running until a German got Martha. Jamie! She shouted. I saw

Fred tied up and was getting dragged from behind the bikes. I got

out my gun and shot it right to the rope. And then I shut the tire

of one bike, ran to Fred and untied him. Come on! I shouted.

We got to save Martha before it is too late, now! I shot oneGerman and got Martha from the dead body. Keep on running!

Sally shouted. Were almost to the cave! Sam shouted back. We

heard guns shooting to the ground behind us. Faster! I shouted.

We were running towards the hill that I fell to the river.

Everybody jump when I count three. Fred said. One The

all jump in the water and started to get pushed by the water. I

sank in the water. I open my eyes in the water but did not see

anything. I was lost and something got tide on my ankle.

I had to do something. I shoot the gun. I got free. I rushed to

the surface and breath deep air. The guys were all in the cave

too. Jamie Fred said pointing to the cave end. What? Martha

came from death from the cave. Joys ok! She is alive!

The germens found the house while we were all in the house.

shouted. Fred looked at Sam. The he sank to the ground. Sam

started to cry even louder. NowNext turn is you. Mrs. Woods

pointed at me. I closed my eyes and dropped my gun. Any lastwords? Mrs. Wood asked. I swallowed, IIhate you! You

witch! BANG!!!BANG!!!BANG!!! I did not feel anything. I open my

eyes. Fred shoots them!

And troops of soldiers came to the cave and took Fred to the

hospital and took me and the kids to a safer place to spend.

I looked around in my room the next day. My bed was bright

as snow and the smell of honey suckles. I was wearing a whitenight dress. And Martha and Sally was sleeping with me. Wake

up. I said to them. Ok. Sally said. Is Fred going to die?

I dont know.

Do we have to go to his funeral?

I dont know.

He said. I got the bow from him and opened it. There stood a

golden ring with diamonds on them! Oh! I took it out from the

box. A piece of chocolate came out. Its a piece, Fred said, You

did not ate it. I ate it and heard him saying, Jamie, will you

marry me? Sally and Martha looked at me and was squealing.

Yes! I said. And hugged him andhim. My sisters cried out

loud. Jamie and Fred sitting on a tree, kissing! They sang as

Fred and I smiled at each other.After the war stopped, we married at January 29. As the

birds sang and when the people became happy again. We

became rich, and Martha, Sally, Sam, and Peter got adopted with

really nice families that lost their children from the war. I wrote

this story when I just got married with Fred. We went on

vacations and went out for picnics. We had 3 children, Brian, Jane,

and Jack. After the war, I never forgot about my old family.

Because, if you see, the ones you love will always be in your hart

no matter where you are. And this is the end of my Story ofMy
