Mexico to Southern California

My father moved to Southern California

in 1987, to get a better education

and to work. He also came to Los Angeles to work and help his family back home. And for a better

future

-Summer of 1991 my older brother Jesse was born in these apartments. Four other men including my father and mother lived in this 2bed apartment. These men were family/family friends from the same

“pueblo” as my dad. Reason was to be more independent away from his aunt and uncle.

- My father and mother already had my brother so he wanted to be devoted to his family.

West Covina CA

Reason: close to work.

2503 Virginia Av. PomonaReason. Cheaper rent in pomona.

My dad and his family and another cousin of his lived in this house.

My parents got married in the back yard of this house.

568 Davidson, Pomona Reason: once my dads cousins moved out from Virginia my

dad couldn’t pay the rent on his own so he moved here.

In 1997-2012We lived in chino hills for 16 years. September of 2012 my family and I moved to city of Norco.

6736 Mystic Canyon Chino Hills.My dad moved out of Pomona , to give my brother and I a better living and to get us out of the “ghetto”. He wanted us to live a calmer life. This was also his first house he has ever bought. We lived in this house for eight years. My younger sister was born in this house. He really liked the community.

6192 Natalie Rd Chino hills2003-2011 we lived in this house for 8 years as well as our other chino hills house. Reason we moved up the street from our old house. Was because my siblings and I were getting older and need our own rooms. So my dad wanted a house with more rooms.

1210 dodge city place Norco

This is my dads last stop. We have recently moved out to Norco. Reason we moved to Norco was because my dad loves horses and wanted a house with horse property.
