You & Me

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

I am a child of God therefore, I have inherited His leadership. He will guide me into a place where I no longer want because I have all I need. He gives me rest and restoration daily. I receive His divine law and am adherent to His voice. Trails come and there is no fear, jealousy or envy in nor from me. Lord You are my comfort. I am blessed before my enemies and abundance overflows from me and I bless them as well. I surround myself with those who seek Your kingdom. The fragrance of Your goodness follows me and as others follow it, I lead them to You so together we can dwell in Your place of rest forever; Zion.

Show Me

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 1:17

I have been chosen by God to live a life with a pure heart. I will not be deceived with the cares of the world. There shall be wars and rumors of wars, yet in peace I will stand because I know my Father has promised no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I believe in every word in the Bible and I act like it is true; I believe, Lord help my unbelief. My faith increases the more I know You, so I petition that You guide me. Show me what needs to be moved, bring down the idols I have set up before You, consume them with You fire. Help me manage my selfish ambitions and send conviction wayward when I cause credulity to others. Beautification, moral integrity, sacred service to You, these are now apart of me because of my faith in You and I ask You teach to lead others to do the same as I lead by example and follow Your Word.

Increase

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 5:1-5

I stand in grace and it is only by faith. So many times I have fallen short of deserving justification and You died for that very reason; that I may be justified. When I fall short, there You are to lift me up. How could I be ashamed? These tough times are what You use to develop me. Give me the strength to share the trials I have endured. Every time I felt I could not make it, there You were reaching out to help me the rest of the way. Strengthen me by how You see fit. I can't even control my emotions, so I know it safe to say I don't know what's best for me; You do. Patience is something I surely need help with and I receive a constant increase of it daily by your love. Grace, courage, strength and direction, I pray for these attributes to be strengthened in my life so I can be more of who You need me to be, thank you Lord.

Worship

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Psalms 5:7

God allow me to first thank You for another day. I am grateful that You not only call me friend, You are my Father. I shall be under the shadow of Your wing; protection. You carry me on Your wing as You soar; support, love, care. Thank You for loving me before I ever loved You, You took me in as I was sinning against You. I pierced Your side, fed You the feces of my life and You opened Your arms and said, "never will I leave you, nor forsake you." Now I press my self into Your holy place, I worship and welcome Your presence. Therein lies the tenderness of heart disposed unto me; mercy. I am not worth of the minuscule of Your mercies Lord, still there it is by the uncountable. A slavish passion for You consumes my heart. I pray I am able to worship in Your house forever.

Your Child16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Romans 8:16

Though my mother and father abandon, renounce or reject me, it is You who hold me close. In the bosom of Your love I'm held captive. A place of forever where I can call home and You Father. Many have failed, given up on or led me astray, but You stand as a strong tower, a cornerstone immovable and everlasting. Awaiting me to run to You, not just in time of need, in time of just cause. Just cause You love me, You gave Your Son so His blood would purify my sins with the simple acceptance of You being Lord over my life. Not an excuse to sin, rather grace that carries me when I don't deserve it, forgiveness that forgives me when I can never earn it. You are my Father and I Your child.

Before Me

3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

2 Timothy 1:3

Lord I first off thank You for another day, an additional opportunity to be in You will is both a challenge and a blessing and through it I will grow and mature in our relationship. Today I want to thank You for those who have come before me. My family, government officials, prophets of biblical days etc... These individuals have abolished slavery, achieved independence from monarch rule, foretold of Your coming and given me a book of life to live by. I am becoming one of these individuals, for I am destined for great things. I thank You for my personal development as Your child, servant, and priest. As the king You have called me to be I, in Your name, am claiming dominion on earth to pave the way for Your return; winning souls, establishing Your temple within others, encouraging others to do the same. I also pray for those to come after me, let me be a motivational example for them to be about Your Fathers business, step away from the negative culture the world presents and walk in the kingdom culture You have called for Your children. So yes, today I thank You for those who have come before me and I pray for those who are before me that they may prosper as their soul prospers in You. Let them not forget prosperity in You.

I Do

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Proverbs 3:13-16

Heavenly Father I pray for the riches of wisdom. Grand me the fullness of her merchandise, wrap her around my neck as rubies, place her on my chest as fine gold, weld her on my heart so she runs through my veins. For she is Your Holy Spirit, the one there with You during Your creation of this world. The wisdom of this age I want not, it is You I seek. Let all that I speak be from the words You give me, let the scriptures confirm. Lead me and teach me to encourage others. Show me how to love those who hate me. Direct me to flee from lust, the snares of the enemy and the wiles of confusion. Order my steps, mind and desires so they are in Your way. I commit all that I am, all that I have, to You. Today I give myself up to You and say I do.

Movement

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18

Lord I thank You for seasons of change, the same would eventually become boring and could be an indication of me being stagnant. So I call a tectonic shift to happen in my life today. I speak to my life now that you will move yourself in the alliance of the Almighty God. The hurricane that tries to rip and toss my life into a clutter is silenced now and the Spirit of the Lord brings peace. I call love to relationships that have been severed by emotions and forgiveness reigns. I bind the snares (traps) the enemy has set for me and I cast them into his camp and he is devoured in his own disasters and schemes. I release the revelation knowledge that my treasures are stored in Heaven and everything the Lord has placed before me, is that I may grow from and release His love upon. Father, I accept Your love and am thankful for You taking afflictions that I maybe one with You.

Despise the Shame, Love His Name

1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.John 13:25

4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.Philippians 4:4

Lord You have set destiny before me and it comes with a price. Chastening and rebuke is what I receive from You because You love me. For who You rebuke You love and who you chasten You call Your sons/daughters. There are many who do not believe in You that surround me, even more threatening are the Luke warm; witnesses. Today I proclaim every burden and trap the enemy has laid before me and I have allowed to continue in, is bound up and cast away from my presence through the authority that You have given me. Jesus You have set forth where I am to be and this race I shall run with the endurance of the Holy Spirit; wisdom. Let patience guide me as my life is an example of holiness in You. May rejoicing come from my growth in You, the maturity of Your word and the love I have for those who also seek Your face daily.

Replaced

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

Father so many times I've heard Your voice and even more have I denied in obedience, pressing myself into separation from Your presence. I repent and receive the responsibility of placing myself in situations of temptation. It was my lust for things not You that has taken my concentration from where You want me to be. There is a place where You want me to be, a place where I am asked who I am and I know my identity because I am Your child. I break the mold and the negative thoughts I have allowed to root in my mind. I bind the negativity and cast it away from my imagination. I bind the desires of this world: sex idolatry (placing things and people before You), things this world plants as traps to blur the vision of myself You have set me to be. There is a loosing, a showering of Your Word that feeds my steps, Your grace and mercy that surrounds me, Your peace and Spirit that fills me and beautiful are my feet as I see myself in Your image.

Fathers

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

1 Peter 1:10-12

Father, I thank You for those who have come before me. The many who labored, were martyred, dedicated and devoted all in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to bring me the revelational understanding that I have been chosen to share the gospel with those around me. All things accomplished through Your Holy Spirit that gives wisdom and direction, the same I will do starting now for others. Receive this prayer as I receive the strength and boldness to act out what You are giving me now. I now hold the strength, wisdom and encouragement to pray face to face for those in need of You, make contact after You have placed someone on my heart and share an uplifting scripture from Your Word, change how I react to the occurrences of life - for it is Your might and power in me that allows me to claim peace and victory - and be a doer of Your word. By Your Holy Spirit are these accomplished and by Your grace, I receive it in Your name for Your glory.

Give Myself Away

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

John 19:30

37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luke 7:37-38

48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.Luke 7:48

So many times I forget that You have already forgiven the worst that I could do. On the door post the blood was spread and on the alter there were blood sacrifices. These were foretelling of what forgiveness is, a giving up of something so dear. For in Your blood being shed, You gave up the ghost. Now Your Holy Spirt dwells in me. So as the woman gave all she had, I give myself away so You can use me. Jesus take me in Your hands and mold my heart so it looks like Yours. Let the cloud of witnesses marvel of the You in me and press me to give the honor to You. I give You my all so I can live in grace, peace and mercy, forgive me of my sins Jesus I am Yours.

Priority

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Proverbs 18:21

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

Father I thank You and am grateful that You have given me understanding and an eager desire to not only learn from but be a doer of Your Word. All that I agree to, let it be for the expansion of Your kingdom. The individuals I keep around myself and intensions in my heart, let it all be to benefit You. Often times I have agree to be apart of things, events or people that have separated me from the relationship You seek from me. Forgive me for the death I have spoken by allowing a disconnect from the True Vine which provides me life, peace and love. Let all I involve myself with and those I allow into my life be done with life that I speak in desire to become more like You. Today as I seek You before I choose to devise my own plan, I thank You for allowing me to speak life so that when others follow my example they too speak life into their destiny.

The Bud

A hidden bud in the midst of a fieldAwaiting to be uncovered

Screaming so loud in the windOnly to be drowned with doubt

Who will hear, see or careThe lies told by fear

Trapped in an unnatural snareBlown to and fro

Moved by life and self doubtNo one cares, what difference do I make?

A seedling without root, nor understanding of causeFor every plant has a purpose to be found

The True Vine gives lifeThe Branch suffered death

Who looked up and found The Light

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 1:7-10

Lord I thank you for choosing me to walk in the light. Many times I've tried to figure things out on my own and I realize my dependence on you is greater then my ability to accomplish anything.You have designed and ordained every aspect of each day to come and in choosing my own path versus the one you set for me I have caused myself to walk in darkness. Forgive me of the lies that I've told my self, thinking I could seek my own desires to please myself while calling myself Your child; luke warm. As I press into prayer today I thank you for welcoming me into Your marvelous light that promises perfection, complete wholeness and I am grateful that once again, I lack nothing.

Eyes on the Prize

8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they. 9 Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field. 10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. 11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? 12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

Ecclesiastes 5:8-12

Lord I am grateful for Your Word, it never fails and is successful in correction. I repent for the desires and goals that I have set for simple abundance and increase. My heart was not set on Your glory, rather my selfishness. I receive today the sweet sleep of a laboring man and am not in awe that some are better off financially than I am. For higher official watches over high official and higher over them so I know that there will be corruption in this land but I subject not myself to it nor do I marvel at their gain, I came here naked and without, the same I shall leave. My reward, my satisfaction, my confidence comes from doing the work You have called me to do. Develop me as You work through me to expand You Kingdom. I am an ambassador in this foreign land here to bring You to the lost and that is my reward.

About The Author

Terrence J. White is a young man who’s passion is to enlighten others about The Kingdom of God and in turn training them to do the same. Raised in Memphis, TN, he rests his head in Southern California. Currently a student at Grand Canyon University, he is seeking a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Christian Studies. His House International Covenant Church is his home where he drums, teaches the youth and mentors Christian brothers and sisters. 2) Find one scripture that relates to your goal or emotions

3) Keep a calendar to track and schedule life progress and

4) Jot down feelings, emotions, prayers and ideas in a journal to express what God has on your heart. A man after Gods own heart
