Summary of progress to date

• Close collaboration between LWBLA and JISC.• Steering Group agrees the brand logo

following a design competition.• Modern English the App design agency have

been appointed to design, build and launch My Pocket Tutor. This followed a tender brief and competitive process including a two stage interview process and references.

Design strategy: total coverage • Website/Microsite:

• Providing desktop accessibility • Ideal for employers and training providers in potentially restricted

• Defining the Learner Experience Strategic Objectives• Take the individual through all the stages of a

Traineeship from the outset - why be a trainee right the way through to progression.

• Maximising the learning experience and effectively prepare the learner to achieve with progression into work and/or an Apprenticeship.

Employer Journey

Provider Journey

Matching supply with demand = successful outcome.

• Where do I find an employer• How can I make the offer attractive• Selling the proposition: try before you buy?• Assessing and choosing a suitable learner• Getting the learner to want this• What makes it work• The right personal learning experience• Checking on progress• Improving the learning experience

Engaging in the project: Content

• Each customer journey will have written script, images, video and learning material.

• 3 provider led customer groups to be established to work with the LWBLA.

• LWBLA overseeing the content.• Membership open to all by email.• Connected to the Working Group.• Opportunities for providers to showcase.

Milestones

If everything goes to plan:

• 25th July is the provisional milestone for the website to go live.

• 11th August provisional date for the app to be in the Apple store.
