• Americans are the only people in the world that call soccer, soccer. Everywhere else people call it Football

•Soccer is the most popular sport in the world

Glee!

•It’s a musical

•It’s about a high school glee club

Pizza!

•It can have many toppings

•It was invented in Italy

Cornelia and the Audacious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters!

•It was written by Lesley M.M. Blume

•It’s about a girl named Cornelia and she becomes friends with her elderly new neighbor, so the neighbor tells her stories about the adventures she went on with her sisters

Friday Night Lights!

•It’s about a high school football team

•The football team makes it all the way to the state championship and lose because the refs cheated

The Fourth of July!

•It’s our country’s independence day

•The first fourth of July celebration was held in Eastport, Maine

Taylor Swift!

•She grew up in Pennsylvania

•She moved to Nashville, Tennessee to become a songwriter, but became a singer/songwriter instead

Wicked!

•It’s a modern Wizard of Oz story

•In the musical, the Wicked Witch (who’s name is Alphaba in the show) and Glinda are good friends

Mia Hamm!

•She was a very famous soccer player

•Hamm played many years as a forward for the United States Women’s National Soccer Team
