NEW YRT BUS TERMINAL COMING SOONSmartCentres Place Bus Terminal will be opening soon! Located north of Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC), YRT Routes 10 – Woodbridge, 20 – Jane and 26 – Maple will service the terminal.

Travellers will also be able to access the terminal from the VMC Subway Station by an underground pedestrian path.

DO YOU SEE A QR CODE AT YOUR STOP? Scan it for real-time informationGet real-time information for your bus by simply scanning the QR code using your mobile device. This will open our RideNow feature and display the next available trip at your stop so you can see the exact time your bus is arriving. Find these QR codes at select stops on Routes 1 – Highway 7, 4/4A Major Mackenzie, 16 – 16th Avenue, 22 – King City, 25 – Major Mackenzie, 85/85C – Rutherford and 96 – Keele-Yonge. Stay tuned for more stops coming soon.

YRT PAY APP UPGRADE A new and improved version of the YRT Pay app will be launching soon for Android and iOS mobile devices. Download the app for free in the App Store and Google Play.

PAYING YOUR FARE ON TTC IN YORK REGION Beginning August 26, travellers can pay with their PRESTO card when travelling on TTC routes in York Region. Simply tap your PRESTO card when you board the bus and tap your PRESTO card when you exit the bus. PRESTO will automatically calculate and deduct your TTC and YRT fares. Travellers may also continue to pay with a cash fare, paper ticket or pass, or the YRT Pay app.

Please note, travellers must continue to pay separate TTC and YRT fares when crossing the Toronto-York boundary at Steeles Avenue.

PRESTO cards are available at YRT PRESTO agent locations or any Shoppers Drug Mart in York Region. You can also load a money value (e-purse), monthy pass or set a youth, senior or child concession on your card. For YRT agent locations, visit yrt.ca
