A1000.After 1 mile turn right (east) on the B157, at traffic lights, sign-posted to Northawand Cuffley; there is also a Queenswood sign. This road is Shepherd’s Way and the mainschool entrance is after the Tennis Centre on the right.

By Air: From Stansted via the M11, M25 and A1000 (52 miles – about 1 hour 10 minutes);from Luton via the M1, A414 and A1000 (42 miles – about 45 minutes); from Heathrowvia the M25, exit junction 24 of the M25 (37 miles – about 50 minutes).

Please note all timings are approximate and we cannot be held responsible for trafficworks or other delays!

By Rail: The mainline station is Potters Bar. The weekday service takes about 30 minutesfrom Moorgate and Kings Cross via Finsbury Park. The weekend service is via Kings Cross.There is no direct bus route to the school, but taxis are available from the station (5-10minute journey). Train enquiries, telephone: 08457 484950.

Reception: All visitors are invited to enter the timber-fronted building, Head’s House,ringing the bell marked “Visitors”. Please wait in the hall for a member of staff. Thank you.

By Road: Queenswood is three miles north of junction 24 of the M25. Leave at thisjunction and take the A111 north-west to Potters Bar. At the traffic lights turn right ontothe A1000 north to Hatfield. At the traffic lights, after half a mile, the road divides; take theleft fork, continuing along the A1000. After 1 mile turn right (east) on the B157, at trafficlights, sign-posted to Northaw and Cuffley; there is also a Queenswood sign. This road isShepherd’s Way and the main school entrance is after the Tennis Centre on the right.

If travelling south on the M1, take Junction 7 along the M10 which joins the A414 travellingeast towards Hatfield. Where this crosses the A1(M) at the large roundabout, follow the signsalongside the University of Hertfordshire indicating A1(M) London and Welham Green.Travel as if towards Welham Green (A1001). Follow the signs for Potters Bar, A1001 (A1000)and after approx. 3 miles, take the B157 on the left, at traffic lights, sign-posted to Northawand Cuffley; there is also a Queenswood sign indicating left, from the opposite side of theroad. This road is Shepherd’s Way and the main school entrance is on the right.

If travelling south on the A1(M) leave at Junction 3, the A414 to St Albans and WelhamGreen. At the large roundabout, take the first exit alongside the University of Hertfordshire

indicating A1(M) London and Welham Green. Travel as if towards Welham Green (A1001).Follow the signs for Potters Bar, A1001 (A1000) and after approx. 3 miles, take the B157 onthe left, at traffic lights, sign-posted to Northaw and Cuffley; there is also a Queenswood signindicating left, from the opposite side of the road. This road is Shepherd’s Way and the mainschool entrance is on the right.

If travelling north on the A1(M) leave at Junction 2 (please note that this is a restrictedjunction and that there is no direct access to or from the north). At the roundabout take thesecond exit straight across onto the A1001 indicating Welham Green. Travel as if towardsWelham Green (A1001). Follow the signs for Potters Bar, A1001 (A1000) and after approx.3 miles, take the B157 on the left, at traffic lights, sign-posted to Northaw and Cuffley; thereis also a Queenswood sign indicating left, from the opposite side of the road. This road isShepherd’s Way and the main school entrance is on the right.

From London: From Tottenham Court Road, head north on the A400 to Camden Townonto Kentish Town Road and continue to Archway. Join the A1, sign-posted “The North”,through Highgate and join the A1000 sign-posted “Finchley”. Continue north on the A1000through Whetstone and Barnet to Potters Bar. At the traffic lights go forward on the A1000.At the traffic lights, after half a mile, the road divides; take the left fork, continuing along the
