    Title: Rose WhiteScore: A

Comments: Everything was great the music, the sound, thelighting, the script, the costumes, the storytelling, and thedirecting. The production was high quality the acting andcasting was well done. The story from Grimms I am familiarwith so I was thrilled with this adaptation. It reminded me ofthe original French movie version of Beauty and the Beast.

The story was precise and conclusive, just well thought out.The camera work was creative but not ridiculouslyunnecessary. The directing did not give away too much toosoon, but it was too short. I would like to see more reserved

    intelligent film.

Title: This Killing BusinessScore: CComments: The make-up was too overdone with guy-linerand too much dye. The costumes were pointless. Why woulda salesmans wardrobe consist of fishing vests in differentcolors that he wears everywhere including to a funeral? Thegirlfriend was wearing the same scarf everyday at the end.

The whole thing had a lost touch with reality feeling. Mostof the problem was the rampant over-acting. Womenportrayed as quietly going along with any sort of nonsense. For example a woman who Likes it rough but is toospineless to say anything about her boyfriend attempting tostrangle her and leave her for dead in the woods. Thegrieving widow is glad someone killed her cheating husbandbecause she never did anything about it. Several of the linesin the script were read ambiguously which further dissolvesthe suspension of disbelief. The synced voice-overs weregetting gimmicky but was a nice touch at first. The soundwas good the music at the end was a good choice.

Comments: The title should imply some sort of humorousfilm alas this is not the case. A reference is made to OrrvilleOhio and some scenes were supposedly shot there thatmight be of interest. The film is about a fraudulent Theater

artist with no accomplishments who has the self-centeredarrogance of Jonah Hill. He wears the costume of a ZachGalafinakis character which we have seen before and thereis no way he could afford to buy. Then he pulls the nudity ala Will Ferrell that we have seen before. Its not that it lacksoriginality but it lacks commitment to these gags as well. Weare missing all of the facial expression the mugging for thecamera that finishes the deed. The other actors areupstaging the main character in everyway they are not inthe same league at all. Then there is the camera; a

documentary style that should have ended when they werethrown out of the church auditorium. For some reason thefilm crew follows the failed actor to East Pumpkin-F*@k, Ohioto live in Grammas basement. The script has some humorbut not an hour and a halfs worth. It has very goodsupporting performances, but not from the main character.

The sound is good even outdoors although it is incomplete.

Title: HydeScore: BComments: Low quality production the sound and thelighting were below average. Inside the house there wereshadows and the faces were only half lit its too hard toimagine anyone living like that. The supposed night visionscenes were clearer. Even the parking lot at the store wastoo dimly lit to be real. There were several lose ends in thescript. The main character was too vague in some scenes asthough he had no drive or purpose the director should havecaught that. The neighborhood watch guy was too rushed inhis delivery and had very little interaction like it wasntrehearsed. The wife did an excellent job with her characterand the baby was perfect. The film missed out on thesuspense and mystery with the distracting quality issues.
