Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) was founded by Dr. Yuichi Kurimoto in 1953 and is recognized by the motto ‘Frontier Spirit’, symbolizing the strong spirit of being at the frontier of knowledge and communications. It is a private university situated in Nisshin, just outside Japan’s third largest city, Nagoya. NUCB is comprised of just over 3,500 students and 100 lecturers and professors. The university has a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research, and has developed alliances with a number of educational institutions in Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America. NUCB was the first AACSB-accredited undergraduate institution in Japan achieving this milestone in 2006 and has successfully maintained it to date. VISA REQUIREMENT NUCB assists students in obtaining a Student visa.Studentscannotenrollunderatouristvisa.Tuition & FeesTuition is waived for incoming students to NUCB.However, we require all students from our partnerinstitutionstopayforcasebooks(amaximumof¥35,000 per semester), application fees for makeupreports (¥4,000 per subject), daily living expenses andaccommodation.

Health InsuranceAllstudentsarelegallyrequiredtoregisterintotheJapanNational Health Insurance (NHI) plan. The cost is anaverageof¥2,000/monthandstudentsarecoveredfor70%ofmedicalcosts.
