Instructions

1. Choose at least one Roman image.

2. CAREFULLY, completely, and correctly color your choice(s) and then cut out with scissors.

3. Next, glue your image(s) onto a piece of construction paper.

4. Then, neatly print at least four slogans around your image(s) that will inspire people to join

the Roman army. Use colored pencil, crayon, or marker to make your words stand out.

Some slogans can be found on the back. Better yet, be creative and include slogans of

your own!

5. Finally, to finish your advertisement, add a title to the top of your poster. Title your poster

something catchy like, The Roman Legion Wants You! Or The Few, The Proud, The Roman

Legion! Still better, think of a unique title of your own—creativity is a plus!
