Numerology always had a very strong influence on Bollywood industry and many of the celebs went on

changing their name numbers only to boost up their positions in the B-Town. Just like visiting the holy

places to pray for their successful releases, they believe in changing the spelling of their names for

betterment in their career. Real Name changes are very common thing for the celebs as Vishal Veeru

Devgan became Ajay Devgan. But changing name numerology is quite a latest trend among the stars.

Rani Mukerji

The daughter-in-law of famous producer of Yash Raj became Rani Mukerji from Rani Mukherji during the

mid years of her career. And we have no need to explain how well it worked. She has always been

classified as one of the strongest actresses of Bollywood and her last film ‘Mardaani’ was also critically

acclaimed. So, how did name numerology help her? Rani Mukherji had the infamous name number 44

like the star Michael Jackson and it caused some of her commercial failures like ‘Mehendi’, ‘Hello

Brother’. As soon as she changed her name number into 30, Jupiter started showing the magic and

things happened smoothly. Once again, she gave us hits like, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’,

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana – the singer, actor and handsome Bollywood host, also changed his name number

by adding an extra ‘N’ to his name and ‘R’ with his surname. He converted his previous name number 48

into 55 and it started working well with him. A profitable change you may call it after his success in

‘Vicky Donor’. Some of his music videos also got a good response.

Ajay Devgn

The versatile actor, Ajay Devgn decided to remove 'A' from his surname making it ‘Devgn’ some years

ago. Undoubtedly, it worked fabulously for him and gifted us back to back blockbusters like Singham and

its sequel, the entire ‘Golmaal’ series after this name change. So, how did it work? His previous name

counted 28 i.e. 1. Though 1 is a very positive number, he changed it into 9 (Present name counts 27) and

it proved to be the best decision ever.

Viveik Oberoi

His name number was too critical i.e. 44. So he changed it into 45 to make 9. Though this change offered

him a negative role in Krrish 3, he gave up his career in acting afterwards. So, the numbers couldn’t get

much time to bring strong changes. Previously once he had added Anand as his middle name. But that

was in vain.

Suniel Shetty

In the early years of his career, Sunil Shetty used write his name like this. As per Name Numerology it is

counted as 40 i.e. 4 and except 22; 4 is not considered to be a good name number. So, a few years back,

he added an ‘E’ to his name and made it Suneil Shetty. Now the entire name counts 45=9. Though, it is

not among the best ones, yet a good name number to bring in successful changes. Modifying his name

actually started working but till then his career was almost at its end. ‘ Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘ No

Kareena Kapoor

Kareena has mostly been spelt with two 'E's. But before the years of her success, she had planned to add

an 'I' in the place of second E (Kareina). However, her dad Randhir Kapoor wasn’t so happy with it and

she had to discard the idea of adding that ‘I’. Whatever reason may be there for this decision, it was

actually wise as per numerology. The name Kareina adds up to 49 (4) which is not at all good as a name
