Implementing early years foundation stage

Diversity, equality and inclusion in early years settings

Planning and providing effective teaching and learning in early years settings

Making accurate and productive use of assessment in early years settings

Developing effective and informed professional practice in early years settings

Promoting the health, safety and well-being of children in early years settings

Child protection and safeguarding

Partnership working in early years

Is this the right qualification for me?

This qualification is suitable for you if you have some experience of children’s learning and development, and want to be trained to a supervisory level.

If you are not currently employed, or, only wish to develop your knowledge about children and young people’s workforce, you may wish to consider undertaking the BIIAB Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce (England) (QCF).

If you are currently employed and wish to demonstrate your competence in leading services relating to children and young people, you may wish to consider the BIIAB Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (England) (QCF).

Yes, this qualification is contained within the Children and Young People's Workforce (England) apprenticeship framework.
