Overview of Classes Taken
• 3D Fundamentals- This entry-level course eases students into the world of 3-D or sculptural art. Students will learn the principles of design and will apply those principles to introductory sculptural works using materials such as paper mache, clay, fibers, wood and basic power tools and hand tools. This course is only for entry level 3-Dartists who have NOT taken Basic Art
• Basic Art- This course is an introduction to art appreciation, production, history, and the Elements and Principles of art. Students will work with a variety of media such as paint, clay, graphite, colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, and many other materials. This course is an exploration of both two-dimensional and three- dimensional design.
Basic 2-D• Basic 2-D is an introductory course in the art department, which is
required for further advancement on the 2-D art track. Students learned fundamental techniques of drawing, shading, and painting in various media such as graphite, acrylic paint, colored pencil, and ink. Units focused on the Elements of Line, Value, Shape, and Color and incorporated known artists whose works exemplify those Elements.
Basic 3-D• Basic 3-D is an introductory course in the art department, which is
required for further development on the 3-D art track. Students learned the fundamental techniques of additive and subtractive sculpting, animation, and perspective drawing in various media such as plaster, clay, and foam. Units focused on the Elements of Form, Texture, and Space and will incorporate known artists whose works exemplify those Elements.

Overview of Classes Taken• Two – Dimensional Design
– This is a studio course that further explores the tools, techniques, materials, and problem solving used in the creation of original two dimensional art. Students developed skills in drawing, painting, and printmaking using media such as pencil, ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, and acrylics. Students were introduced to a variety of known artists and will explore tools, techniques, and materials used by those artists.
Overview of Classes Taken• Three-Dimensional Design I
– A semester long class that introduces to the tools, techniques and materials for creation of three dimensional art.
– Learn additive, subtractive and mold-making processes.– Creation of more elaborate and higher level sculptural and 3D
pieces.
• Three-Dimensional Design II– A semester long class that reinforces tools, techniques and
materials for creation of three dimensional art.– Learn jewelry making and ceramic skills.– Creation of more elaborate and higher level sculptural and 3D
pieces.
Overview of Classes Taken• Ceramics I
– A semester long class that covers traditional ceramics, clay bodies, the techniques of hand-building, wheel-throwing, firing, and decorative finishing with glazes, stains, and englobes.
• Ceramics II– A semester long class that reinforces tools, techniques and
materials for creation of ceramic art.– Further explores the tools, techniques, and processes learned
in Ceramics I.
Overview of Classes Taken• Graphic Design
– This year long course focuses on different art occupations •Comic Book Illustration, Commercial Art, Book Illustration, Product Design, Interior Design, Poster Design, Logo Production, and computer graphic.
– Course is broken up into two parts•One part is work on drawing and layouts skills (with a huge focus on the Principles of Design) while the other is becoming familiar with the computer programs Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Advance Computer Graphics- In depth use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator- Students will develop a professional digital portfolio- Students will be focusing on competitions and professional jobs
Overview of Classes TakenDigital Photography• Provides students with the opportunity to learn how to use a digital
camera to its full extent, along with learning how to take impressive photos. During this semester course students learn about taking photos and how to enhance photos using Adobe Photoshop.

taking art in college.
• Independent study.– A class where I received one on one attention and worked on
areas of personal interest and future career plans.
