Now group yourselves into five. Let’s pretend that each team contains members from each class in feudal society. A leader must be selected that will assign role to the members, so that each social class is represented. Each team should have a king, lord, lesser lord, knight, monk, princess, and peasant.

Within each society, each member should draw up a contract explaining what they will receive from and give to the other members. Then if time permits, introduce different scenarios into the group and see how each social class aids resolving the problem raised by the scenario. The scenarios may include floods, famines, war, invasion and the death of the monarch or lord.

You are given 15 minutes to discuss and plan before the teacher asks you to
