A guide to the 2011 Napa Valley Film Festival
Citation preview
Please join us for the inaugural nAPA vALLeY FiLm FestivAL ... novemBer 9-13, 2011
The new Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) is being developed and produced by Cinema Napa Valley, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Napa, California.
Cinema Napa Valley and the new Napa Valley Film Festival are the creations of Brenda & Marc Lhormer. Brenda and Marc had careers in management, marketing, public relations and
event production, before settling in Sonoma in 1999, where they ran the Sonoma Valley Film Festival for 7 years, and then produced their first feature film BOTTLE SHOCK (about the historic upset victory by Napa wines over the French at the infamous 1976 blind-tasting in Paris).
We have had many requests about the ways people can get involved in the festival. So please, spend a moment and see what might work for you. From Founding Patron or Sponsor, filmmaker, media rep, winery, hotel or other hospitality partner— or just plain old film-lover—there are options for everyone. Please let us know if you need more specific information ... and we look forward to working with you!

corPorAte AnD in-KinD sPonsorshiPsThe festival partners with a variety of partners with complementary lifestyle brands and values, both to enrich the festival experience and to assist with the underwriting of the festival’s production. Corporate sponsorship packages are highly customized to meet the promotional and entertainment/hospitality needs of each sponsor ... with cash sponsorship levels ranging from $15k to $250k.
In addition, the festival relies on a wide array of in-kind partners ... everything from donated lodging for filmmakers and celebrity guests, wine, catering, marketing & promotion, discounted or free venue rentals, etc. Wineries in particular have a range of options for participating:
• Owners/executives can enjoy the festival as Founding Patrons
• Offer samples in the wine-tasting pavilions, and/or prior to screenings at select venues
• Brand/sponsor a specific screening or event venue (for an appropriate cash contribution)
• Provide wine for VIP Gift Bags for top patrons, sponsors, filmmakers and celebrity guests
• Provide large format special bottles for our Tribute honorees
and Award-winners• Host celebrity winemaker / chef / filmmaker dinners• Host private wine-tasting experiences for VIP guests
Our winery partners will have the opportunity to add festival attendees to wine club mailing lists, as well as the ability to actually sell wine during the festival itself (details on ordering and fulfillment TBD). All hospitality partners are considered key to the success of the film festival experience and the NVFF staff will work closely with our partners to coordinate co-promotional special offers.
