TONIGHT WE WILL DISCUSS
NOW THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR COURSE…
You will be sent an email from RAYMOND with log in details and a link to NASM ONLINE once you have completed your online NASM evaluation
this takes approximately 7 days to process.
You will then be able to access all of the additional ONLINE information
Including, extra learning material, practice examination and other general NASM information
PRACTICE EXAMINATION
You have unlimited attempts at the online practice exam.
Online Practice exam can be completed anywhere - You may now access this on your mobile devices. To log in on your phone you will need to access the full website.

THE FINAL EXAMINATION
There will be 100 questions on the final examination The examination needs to be completed within 90 minutes A pass mark of 70% is required
The examination needs to be completed at OPS
This is a closed book examination
(No electrical devices)
You have a total of 12 months with three (3) attempts to complete your final examination

On the actual exam, you will be tested on the following subject areasOUTLINE

WHEN YOU ARE READYContact OPS 2868 5170 and make a booking for your examination, you will need to allow 90 mins
You will need to bring with you the LOG IN DETAILS that Raymond has sent you
FINAL EXAMINATION
LETS TAKE A LOOK
Once you are at OPS, you will be guided to the FINAL EXAMINATION page.
This screen will let you know if you have completed ALL questions. Please check before submitting your examination
Please check that you have completed all questions and are satisfied with your answers before you hit SUBMIT, as this action cannot be undone.
Once you have completed the exam you will be given a score immediately.
If you pass our staff member will print a copy of your certificate for reference, this is not your official certificate, just a token until your original certificate is prepared
IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCEED!!!
If you are not successful with your first attempt, you still have two more chances to do your final examination.
If after your third attempt you still have not been successful, then you will need to apply for an extension
Alternatively if you fail to take your FINAL examination within the required 12 month period then you will also need to apply for an extension
If for what ever reason you find you need an extension of time to complete your FINAL examination…
You can purchase an examination extension The cost for the Extension is HK$1,600 (US$200)
This will allow you to reset the exam attempts and extend your time by an additional 180 days from the date of purchase of the extension
NASM CPT EXAMINATION EXTENSION
Your NASM Certificate is valid for 2 years
Re-certification is required every 2 years
You must have a valid CPR in order to re-certify
RE-CERTIFICATION
The required CEU’s for recertification is 2.0 units, of which 0.1 is an Adult CPR / AED certificate.
CEU’s in excess of the amount required cannot be carried over
These must be completed within the 2 year period of your NASM CPT
You need to re-new your NASM CPT Certification every 2 years
It is in your best interest to wait until your final examination has been successful, BEFORE you do any continuing education
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS CEU’S
Recertification for NASM can be processed with Optimum Performance Studio Hong Kong
Re-certification fee is HK$1,000 (US$125)
Late re-certification fee is HK$1,300 (received up to 90 days post-expiration)
Fail to re-certify before the 90 days 3 months, then your certification will be invalid
NASM RE-CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE
Once you have completed the required ongoing education
Contact RAYMOND at OPS

Provide documentation of continuing education courses, e.g. copies of CEU certificates
A total of 2.0 NASM approved CEU’s are required, 0.1 is an Adult CPR/AED course
Bring documentation to OPS and we will complete the details for you
