Various Camps National Cadets Corps is one of the biggest voluntary organizations in India. It is functioning under the direct control of Defense Ministry of India. NCC is divided in to Seventeen directorates. Maharashtra Directorate is one of them. Strength of NCC unit of college is 54 SD; it is under the 53, Maharashtra Battalion Latur. Cadets participated in different National level and state level camps. In the academic year 2014-15 N.C.C enrolled 53 cadets in the month of July on the basis of ground test, height and physical fitness of student. In the academic year 2014-15 N.C.C cadet participated in various training camps 1. Cadets Ashruba Ramrao was selected for BLC camp Amravati 2. Similarly Cadet Kolge Abhijeet was selected for NIC camp Nagpur 3. Two cadets Panchal Sangmeshwar and Vyanjane Sushil were selected for GSC camp Aurangabad. National Cadets Corps is one of the biggest voluntary organizations in India. It is functioning under

the direct control of Defense Ministry of India. NCC is divided in to Seventeen directorates.

Maharashtra Directorate is one of them. Strength of NCC unit of college is 54 SD; it is under the 53,

Maharashtra Battalion Latur. Cadets participated in different National level and state level camps.

In the academic year 2014-15 N.C.C enrolled 53 cadets in the month of July on the basis of ground

test, height and physical fitness of student.

In the academic year 2014-15 N.C.C cadet participated in various training camps

1. Cadets Ashruba Ramrao was selected for BLC camp Amravati

2. Similarly Cadet Kolge Abhijeet was selected for NIC camp Nagpur

3. Two cadets Panchal Sangmeshwar and Vyanjane Sushil were selected for GSC camp Aurangabad.

1. Enrollment: SM Bhalerao sir guided to NCC Cadet during first year Enrollment.

2. Tree Plantation: Tree plantation was done in our college under the guidance of respected

Principal Dr A.M.Palnitkar sir, NSS Programme Officer Dr B.T Chavan Sir.

3. Blood Donation: NCC Cadets donated blood in the Blood donation Programme conducted in

our college on 12th January 2015 on the occasion Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with

NSS cell.

4. Independence Day: Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August, 2014 in our Education

society. All the colleges in DES come together and celebrate Independence Day. The

responsibility of making arrangements of Independence Day is given to NCC cell of our college.

The National Flag was unfurled by our Hon’ble Shri Laxmiraman Lahoti (President Dayanand

Education Society Latur). On this occasion Vice-President DES, Secretary DES, Principal, Vice-

principal, NCC cadets, students, parents and whole staff of our Dayanand Education society were

present.

5. Republic Day: Republic Day was celebrated with usual fervor and enthusiasm on 26th January,

2015. In our Education society all colleges comes together and celebrate Republic Day. The

responsibility of making arrangements of Republic day is given to NCC department of Dayanand

college of Science. The National Flag was unfurled by our Hon’ble Shri LaxmiramanLahoti

(President Dayanand Education Society Latur). On this occasion Vice-President DES, Secretary

DES, Principal, Vice-principal, NCC cadets, students, parents and whole staff of our Dayanand

Education society were present.

I am thankful to our President Honourable Shri Laxmiramanji Lahoti sir (Daynanad Education

Society), Secretary (Dayanand Education Society), Principal and Vice-Principal for giving their support

and making the NCC activities successful.
