● Registration to NDLI is OPEN FOR ALL.
REGISTRATION TYPE:
● Individual : Register directly
● Bulk: Institutions send list of persons to be
registered to NDLI person and NDLI person gets
the registration done through a backend process

Club Set up
● Club Formation: Head of the Institute
● Club Registration: In the Club website (pending website availability through Google Form)
● Club kickoff ○ Through a webinar or a workshop
■ To be conducted Regional Manager/Country Lead/Executive Lead/Nodal person/NDLI Executive
■ To be attended by Patron, President, Secretary, all Executive Members and Members of the Club
○ Webinar/Workshop to familiarize participants
■ About contents of NDLI and how to use NDLI effectively
■ How to register users in NDLI
■ Kind of activities that a Club can undertake with possibly a small activity
Club Operation
● Club ramp up
○ The teacher and the student lead of each department:
■ To register in NDLI all the teachers and students of the department
■ To train all the teachers and students on contents of NDLI and how to use NDLI effectively
■ To discuss the kind of activities that the Club should undertake
■ To motivate the teachers and students to become member of the Club
● Club functioning
○ Conduct events at regular intervals (typically once in a month)
■ Record reward points earned by members
○ Publicize Club in the Institute
■ Put up posters at strategic locations
■ Give talks at various student meets/forums
■ Send periodic e-mail communication
○ Conduct Award ceremony (say once in a quarter/half-year)
■ Showcase winners
○ Submit Activity Report with metadata in the Club website
Support provided by NDLI
● Set up the web-based Platform (Club website and IT infrastructure) for setting up and operation of Clubs in Virtual mode
● Set up processes/workflow for set up, operation (both in Virtual mode as well as Physical mode) and monitoring of Clubs
● Train persons for set up, operation and monitoring of Clubs and managing the Club Council
● Provide materials (PPT, Handout, Collateral, Posters, Quiz/Collection Banks etc.) required for webinar, training, set up, conducting activities and operation of Clubs
● Organize annual all-India level meet of star members of the Clubs
● Facilitate the overall Mission
Club Classification
● Two distinct class of Club Members
○ Involved in School Education
○ Involved in Higher Education & Career Development
● Those involved in School Education have more interest in activities that
contribute directly to curriculum based education and improve on
score/grade
● Those involved in Higher Education & Career Development have more
interest in activities that help skill, habit, personality and network
development, etc. and overall career progression
● Club platform conceived as two branches, one for School Education and
the other for Higher Education with a common registration and login
system
Current Status
● Web based platform development is in progress
○ The 1st version of the School branch may get released in near future
○ Higher Education (HE) branch may take more time
● Pending platform availability, some Clubs have been set up in Physical mode and activities are being conducted in Physical mode
● Once the web based platform is available these Physical Clubs will migrate to the platform and continue activities mostly through the platform
HOW DO WE PROCEED?
Initiation Proposal
● Till the web based platform is available, can we start setting up Physical Club and carry out activities in Physical mode?
○ Set up the Club following the standard Club structure
○ Register the Club using a Google form
○ Record Club details and activities in a Google sheet
● Launch the Club through a half-day Workshop
● Workshop structure
○ Short inauguration
○ Overview of NDLI & how to use NDLI
○ Registering participants in NDLI
○ Registering the Club
○ Registering participants as Members of the Club
○ Carry out one short sample activity
Initiation Proposal
● Growing the club
○ Each Executive Member, representing a Class, to get the students of his/her Class registered in NDLI as well as Member of the Club
○ Plan and organize activities (typically 2-hour) on monthly basis
○ The 1st monthly activity may be a training session on NDLI followed by a short competition oriented activity
● Support from NDLI-NERC
○ Training the Club office bearers and Executive Members
○ Providing materials to conduct the training session on NDLI
○ Setting up Google forms and sheets for registration of Clubs and recording activities conducted
○ Providing contents and tips to conduct Club activities
○ Providing some reward for best Club in the Cluster/Region
