Total number of participants on the occasion of IDY on 21st Yoga – 5000

National Institute of Naturopathy conducted fourth International day of Yoga in collaboration

with Modern Education Society, Pune Municipal Corporation, Indian Naturopathy and Yoga

Graduates Medical Association- Maharashtra Chapter, Ugaoo.com and 1nature.in at Nowrosjee

Wadia College, Pune from 7:00am to 8:00am on 21st June 2018.

The event was graced by Honb’le Guardian Minister Shri Girish Bapat, Shri Chockalingam Land

Settlement Commissioner, Prof. Rajput, Secretary Modern Educational Society and Shri Umesh

Gaikwad, Corporator PMC (Koregaon Park, Ghorpadi).

Program started with mass yoga performance of common yoga protocol by the dignitaries and

around 1200 yoga enthusiasts from all over Pune participated in this event.

Addressing the huge crowd gathered on the occasion Shri. Bapat said that he would help NIN to

take Yoga to larger masses across Pune city and stressed on the importance of adapting Yoga and

Naturopathy as a lifestyle practice. Prof. (Dr.). K. Satya Lakshmi, Director, NIN presided over

the function and assured NIN will work to uplift the health status of the citizens through its

multifaceted activities. Shri Umesh Gaikwad in his address requested all the participants to make

yoga as a regular practice and he said he witnessed the positive effects of yoga himself by his

regular practice. He assured that NIN will have his support in all our future endeavors.

All the participants who attended the event were given a T shirt and were served Ragi Malt and a

herbal sapling from Ugaoo.com. The event was a grand success with a good response from the

puneites.

National Institute of Naturopathy conducted International day of Yoga at various institutes across

Pune. A total of around 3800 participants joined the sessions from various institutes.

Common Yoga protocol for employees of Geological survey of India. Around 50 members

participated in this event. The session was conducted by Dr. Alam Shah, Medical Officer, NIN

and Mr. Dadarao, student at NIN.

The fourth international day of Yoga was conducted at Regional Ayurveda Institute for

Fundamental Research on 21st June 2018. Session was conducted by Dr. Jay Mahajan and Mr.

Vinod Devnoor from National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune. Around 50 participants attended

the program.

Common Yoga protocol was conducted at IITM (Indian Institute of tropical Meteorology),

Pashan, Pune on the occasion of IDY 2018. Around 60 scientists participated in this event. The

session was conducted by Dr. Pranav Khawale and Mr. Devanshu.

Dr. Santoshi Medical Officer at NIN conducted an awareness session on Yoga on the occasion of

IDY 2018 at Shivaji Chatrapati garden, Pune. Around 80 participants attended the session.

Goods & Services Tax) on the occasion of IDY 2018. Around 120 participants attended this

session.

National Institute of Naturopathy conducted Yoga awareness program at Panchgani,

Maharashtra. Dr. Parag Wadekar conducted awareness sessions for School students, Nursing

students, Teachers and patients. Around 250 participants joined the sessions.

NIN conducted Common Yoga protocol for the employees of CWPRS (central water and power

research station) on 21st June 2018. Dr. Anupama CM conducted session and around 60

and live screening of Shri Narendra Modi ji was telecasted live. A floating population of around

2600 members witnessed this event.

members of Southern command. Around 200 members participated in this event.
