Conference Highlights

Emerging Leaders Program

Register your emerging leaders to attend the first annual Emerging Leader Program!

This program is designed for professionals with less than 10 years’ experience in a safety role in the refining and petrochemical industry. This program is open to both operating companies and the contractors and suppliers that support the industry.

There will be a networking event on April 23rd at 5:00pm and a roundtable session during the conference on April 24th.

For additional questions, contact Rebecca O’Donnell, [email protected].

New Conference Format!

Based on feedback from attendees, we have updated our conference format. Attendees of this year’s conference will experience a shorter General Session that will be supplemented with a Practice Share Poster Session in addition to soft skill breakout sessions. We have also updated our breakout session format to be more conducive to roundtable discussions that will allow for increased attendee participation.

Safety Awards Event

AFPM is pleased to honor those facilities and contractors that achieved excellent safety performance during calendar year 2018. This year’s event will be held at the Gaylord Texan and will feature dueling pianos.
