Starting this February 11 (Edison's 164 th birthday) and running through February 11, 2012, the park will tweet Edison's daily activities 100 years ago to the day. Followers will be able to track Edison as he experiments in the lab, handles the affairs of his phonograph and motion picture companies, deals with family problems, answers fan mail, talks to reporters and travels to Europe with his family. Historic documents, photographs and more detailed information related to the tweets will be available on the park's website. According to Thomas Edison National Historical Park archivist Ed Wirth, "this will be a unique opportunity to explore a year in Edison's life through the park's rich museum collections."
