• The ESF Regulation required that 20% of the funding should be allocated to social inclusion measures. • €182.949m./30%• €136.29m in YEI/23%

• ESF supports programmes across the education, training, inclusion and equality sectors in 5 Priority Axes• Child poverty addressed under Priority 2: Promoting Social Inclusion

• Youthreach programme for early school leavers, • Schemes aimed at helping young people avoid crime (Youth Diversion

Schemes) and to assist young offenders on probation from prison, • SICAP; a local-based social inclusion and activation scheme for young

people • Back to Work Enterprise Allowance Scheme, • the JobsPlus Incentive Scheme, • the national Internship scheme for the unemployed (JobsBridge) • a similar scheme called TUS, • and our national Labour Market further education and training

programme MOMENTUM.
