The lemons acidity found in the juice along with the grease-cutting oil contained within its skin creates a superb cleaning sidekick. This beautiful, acidic, multipurpose yellow gem can be used to clean countless things in your home.
For a sparkling toilet, mix-in some white vinegar alongside a good handful of bicarbonate of soda and give it a good shake. Pour around seat basin and leave to sit for a few minutes. Scrub with a toilet brush, fizzing up the solution and let it work

You can cut a lemon in half and leave it in a small bowl, flesh up to get rid of any nasty smell in your refrigerator. Leave the door closed for a further minute or so to steam, then open and simply wipe down the
inside with a damp cloth.

you're happy with the scent, then you can use it to freshen up the air, your furniture or linen.
Mix together 1-part white vinegar to 4-parts water and use on windows or mirrors to polish and clean. Use alongside a squeegee to avoid any unsightly streaks.
