GLUE DOWN PRODUCT - GLUE DOWN INSTALLATIONGlue down requires full adhesion to the subfloor. Only recommended adhesives can be used to ensure the warranty of the floor remains valid. No need for major construction or expensive tools. Simple to cut with a sharp utility knife.

CLICK PRODUCT - CLICK INSTALLATIONOur Click product is designed for even quicker and easier installation. It’s manufactured with a proven ESQ locking system and patented ‘double security’ push-down connection technology. Easy. Simple. Quick. No need for adhesive. Simple to cut with a sharp utility knife.

We recommend using LockSet permanent adhesive.

Lock Set is a solvent free, easy to use advanced

aqueous adhesive suitable for interior installations

of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and plank (LVP). The ad-

hesive is applied using a 3/8” nap paint roller and

dries quickly to facilitate fast installation times.

Coverage is approximately 350-400 square feet

per gallon.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

NOTE: A CLEAN SUBSTRATE IS ESSENTIAL! Suit-

able substrates include on or above grade con-

crete (within moisture and alkalinity specifi cations),

well-bonded and properly prepared tile or sheet

goods, APA underlayment grade plywood and radi-

ant heated fl oors (85° F and below). All substrates

must be clean, smooth, dry and free of waxes, ex-

isting adhesives, dirt, dust, grease, oil, paint curing

compounds or sealers. This adhesive cannot be

used over chemically cleaned substrates. Lock Set

may be used for installations over concrete sub-

strates with up to 85% Relative Humidity (RH) (per

latest version of ASTM F2170), and pH between

8.0–9.0. All substrate preparation and testing pro-

cedures must conform to appropriate ASTM F710

guidelines, and comply with the fl oor-covering

manufacturer’s specifi cation

APPLICATION:

A roll-on application method is recommended to

achieve a smooth even full-spread coating. Spread

rate and drying time of the adhesive will depend on

the porosity and texture of the substrates and the

ambient temperature and relative humidity. Once

the coating has dried, it must be kept clean and

apart from any contact with other surfaces until

ready to begin the bonding process. Do not spread

more adhesive than can be covered in a day’s time.

place, re-positioning is usually not possible. Nor-

mal traffi c on fl ooring installations may resume

as soon as the installation is completed. Wait at

least 48 hours before beginning cleaning and

polishing, or follow the fl ooring manufacturer’s

Caring for your Moduleo FlooringYour Moduleo flooring is not only beautiful, but durable. It’s designed to provide years of carefree use and is much easier to maintain than most other flooring products thanks to its tough protective finish and moisture resistance. It only takes a few simple care and maintenance steps to keep your Moduleo floor looking beautiful for years to come.

To keep your floor clean, following these proper care and maintenance guidelines:• Sweep the floor regularly with a soft bristle broom to remove loose dirt.• Wash the floor with non-abrasive, neutral PH floor cleaner.• For everyday maintenance, a mop moistened with warm water will suffice.• Spills should be cleaned up immediately.• Ensure furniture legs have large surface, non-staining plastic floor protectors or non-staining felt pads.

The protectors should be at least one inch in diameter and rest flat on the floor. The heavier the item, the wider the floor protector should be. Replace small, narrow metal or dome-shaped glides with smooth, flat glides that are in flat contact with the floor.

• Heavy furniture or appliances that are not moved often should be equipped with flat, non-staining composition furniture or cups of appropriate size.

Do not use the following on your vinyl flooring:• Soap based detergents• Abrasive or mop and shine products• Floor wax• Vacuum cleaners with a rotating beater bars• Ammonia or bleaches*

*For spot treatment, a diluted 1/10 solution of bleach/water is tolerable for stain removal.

Note: Always read the cautionary information on all cleaners prior to use!

Important: Never push, pull or drag furniture, appliances or other items across the floor. When moving furniture or heavy items, always lift and carry the items. Place hardboards between the flooring and object to move.

Treating Stains, Spills & ScuffsYuck! Unveiled something unbecoming on your Moduleo flooring? Follow the remedies in order to help resolve the issue. Unless instructed otherwise, use a clean, white cloth or towel with products recommended for vinyl flooring. Always rinse the affected area with clean water after treatment.

The Stain or Spill – acids, alkalis, blood, catsup, mustard, food, fruit, fruit juices, candy, cleaners, strong soaps, dye, dye markings, urine and feces, grass, iodine, mercurochrome and rust. The Remedy

• First, remove as much solid material as possible.• Scrub area with cleaner full strength.• Rub the area with a 10 to 1 dilution of water to liquid bleach.• Rub the area with isopropyl alcohol.• If rust stain does not respond, use lemon juice or a cream of tartar solution.

The Paint & Solvent Spills – Dry cleaning fluids, lacquer and latex paint, nail polish, solvents, oil-based paints, wood stains and varnish The Remedy
