Naviance Family Connection: Researching Colleges On Naviance
Naviance Family Connection is a comprehensive web-based service to assist with college and career planning. Students, particularly during their junior year, can use Naviance to streamline the college search process and conduct an in-depth search for schools by location, size, academic programs, cost and more.

Common Links on the left
Use the “college search” tool to
search for colleges based upon type of school, location, size,
admission requirements,
athletics, majors and cost.
The search function allows students to search schools by preferences.
Students can also use the “SuperMatchcollege search” tool
to search for colleges based on
preferences.

Use the “college lookup” tool to view in-depth information about colleges that may be of interest.
Select the overview, studies, student life, admissions, or costs
tab to research information about a
specific college.
Click on the “college resources” link to view resources on
colleges and careers, financial
aid, college athletics test preparation, and
the military.
The “college maps” link will give you
access to a variety of maps of colleges.
Clicking on the college on the right will show you were the
school is on the map and list the how many miles
this college is from our school.

Click on the “college I’m thinking about” link to starting building a college list.
Once a college is added, students can see quick
information regarding the application process, deadlines
and more.
