NCERT Books to be covered for students targeting IAS - 2015 and IAS - 2016 Take care that for all subjects , you do not need to study NCERT books from 6th to the 12th standard. Say if you do that for Science(Physics , Chemistry and Biology) then you will have to allocate a separate 4 months just for Science NCERT books. You can benefit most from NCERT books if you have read them before you take any professional help on the subject. If you have read through the NCERT books before you start classes, then you will benefit more from the classes. Once your classes are over, add the extra details present in NCERT books to your teacher's class notes.
