Programs:

1. Describe how the services provided under the programs in this application are integrated with each other and coordinated withother programs funded under NClB (Titles I, II-A, II-D, III, VI) including other educational programs such as Title I

Schoolwide Programs, IDEA, Perkins, McKinney, Even Start, Head Start, Early Reading First, 21st Century Community learning

Centers Program and state and local programs.

Note: Provide a district description and a specific description for each SINI and/or school operating an approved Title I

schoolwide program. ([count] of 1000 maximum characters used)

The District's Strategic Plan and NJASK- AYP reports will be mechanisms for coordinating services and programs district-

wide. The District is driven by educational reform and increased shared decision-making. SLCs/Leadership teams (made up

of administrators, teachers, parents, community members) have been established at all schools to manage the reform

process. Whole School Reform strategies and best practices including Balanced Literacy, research-based math programs,

site-based management, student interventions and use of data to drive instruction are crucial in providing thorough and

efficient education for all students in SINI and schcclwide programs.

Subgroups:

migrant, homeless, limited English proficient, neglected and delinquent, youth at risk of dropping out, disabled, economically

Services for ELL students include BilingualjESL classes. To enhance communication with parents, transiators support

school and district meetings. Project Adelante continues to be an effective program for Latino and African American
