Fill out a class household information card and pay the required fees at the center. You are not enrolled into the class until you have: 1) signed the waiver on the back of the household information card, 2) your fees have been paid, and 3) you have received your receipt. You may also register online starting the fi rst day of registration! SAFEKEY PROGRAMSafekey is a structured before and after school program for K-5th grade children. Safekey is offered at school sites and provides a variety of activities and social events such as arts and crafts, fi tness activities and physical games that are facilitated by trained staff.

Children may work on homework during the hours of Safekey but we cannot enforce the completion of homework or ensure that it is done correctly. Safekey is a recreation based program, we do not offer tutoring or homework help. This is to ensure that children are not misadvised on homework.

You must sign your child in and out daily. The person who is scheduled to pick up your child must be listed on the participation form and they must show proper identifi cation.

Every child must have a new Safekey participation form on fi le for the 2015-2016 school year.

Children are encouraged to wear closed toed athletic shoes daily. Flip fl ops and sandals are not advised for indoor or outdoor active play.

Payment is required before or on the day that services are rendered.

The City of North Las Vegas operates a 9-hole, par three golf course 7 days a week that offers the best golf value in the Las Vegas area. Open year round, the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities. It is especially user friendly for seniors and beginners. The length is not intimidating, there are no artifi cial hazards and the small greens present a challenge to the more accomplished players.

The course is well maintained and offers gently rolling terrain with many mature trees and a great view of the Las Vegas Valley. The course was the fi rst lighted course in Nevada and golfers can tee off as late as 4:30pm during the fall season. STICKS FOR KIDS: Golf is an excellent forum to introduce youth to physical activity, to increase youth’s environmental awareness and to provide an opportunity to learn a lifetime sport. The Sticks for Kids program provides as many children as possible with a set of clubs to use while learning to play the game of golf. SPECIAL PROGRAMS: Par 3 golf course is a Boy Scouts Merit Badge - Cub Scouts Loop & Pin Certifi ed Location. Please call and book an individual tee time for a trooper or group time for an entire troop. Par 3 encourages parent participation or supervision while troopers are fulfi lling their requirements to obtain their badge or loop & pin.

TOURNAMENTS: The Par 3 golf course hosts multiple tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments are held internally, through leagues or the course may also be reserved for private use. Fees may apply. PARK-COMPLEX/FACILITY RENTALS

PICNIC-GAZEBO: The gazebos are ideal for family birthday parties, baby or bridal showers and other small events involving less than 100 people. These reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Fees are $75 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.

LARGE EVENT-MULTI DAY USE: These reservations are ideal for family reunions, weddings, company picnics, school functions, or other larger events involving more than 100 people. These reservations must be made at least 60-90 days in advance depending on size and scope of the event. Fees are $75-$300 per hour with a 2- hour minimum. A refundable cleaning/damage deposit will be determined upon application submission and review.

JUMPER POLICY: Jumpers and bounce-houses are welcome at City-owned parks as long as the reserving group obtains a park reservation contract through the reservation desk. Jumpers must be provided by a company who holds general liability insurance naming the City of North Las Vegas as an additional insured up to $1 million per occurrence. Companies may not utilize stakes to secure the jumper. There are no exceptions.

LARGE SHELTERS: Are equipped with 25 tables and accommodate up to 400 people. They are available for reservations in 5-hour blocks. Jumpers are permitted at all shelters with the exception of Village Lodge. Power is available.

OPEN SPACE/SPECIAL EVENT USAGE: Craig Ranch Regional Park has multiple open space features, state of the art plazas, a 65,000 square foot Skate Park and so much more. They are ideal for many types of festivals and events. Fees for these areas vary depending on the size and scope of your event. CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand unplanned events come up and you may need to cancel your reservation. If this is the case, cancellation must be made at least 14 days prior to your reservation. All cancellation requests must be made in writing with the name of reservation holder, reservation date and contract number. Cancellations made prior to the 14 days are subject to a fee of 50% of reservation costs. For cancellations made less than 14 days of reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. No refunds will be approved due to inclement weather.

REFUND POLICY: Refunds are subject to approval. All approved refunds will be applied to the original payee and credit card number unless paid with cash or check. If paid by cash or check, a check will be returned via the mail. Refund process may take up to three (3) weeks.

Applications for the Community Garden are available online at www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com or stop by the Information Kiosk. (#17) The annual fee is $150.00 per plot and includes water usage.

FARMERS MARKET: On the Ranch Farmers and Artisan Market is open EVERY SUNDAY (rain, shine & holidays) inside of Craig Ranch Regional Park. Our new summer hours are 8:00am-1:00pm through Sep. Fall hours 9:00am-2:00pm. 2ND ANNUAL CRAIG RANCH ACTION SPORTS COMPETITONThe City of North Las Vegas is proud to be hosting the 2nd Annual Craig Ranch Action Sports Competition featuring pro-BMXer Ricardo Laguna! Saturday, August 29 from 12:00noon to 8:00pm in the Craig Ranch Skate Park. Participants of all ages are given the opportunity to compete on skateboards, scooters or bikes for awards and prizes from an Advanced and Intermediate level. Event features include action demonstrations, face painting, a video game mobile, rock climbing wall and food for purchase.

Day of admission is $5 for spectators, $20 to compete. Pre-registration is $15 from July 13th until August 27th at the following locations: Craig Ranch Regional Park Offi ce (851 W.
