Configuration of Portal Resources
Introduction
NeoAccel Portal is a (web based) medium to access the resources at the VPN end.
Only an administrator decides and controls the accessibility or
display of these resources in the portal.
An administrator manages these resources by means of NMC (NeoAccel Management Console).
After the creation of a portal resource, assign it to a group via the
NMC so as to make it available to the portal users belonging to that particular group.
Full Access is available via two methods: PHAT Client and Quick
Access Terminal.
As an administrator you have rights to:
o Configure Portal Resources. o Assign Portal Resources to respective groups.
List of Portal Resources Portal Resources consist of :
o Web Application o Thin Application o Windows File Share o Installation Packages
Add Resource Resource Hiding – In case you have added a resource but you do not want users belonging to a particular group to have access to it then you can facilitate a feature called, Resource Hiding. For Example: Create a resource RDP - \\192.168.14.24, create an ACL such that users do not get access to resource RDP - \\192.168.14.24 . Bind this ACL to the group. Now when the portal end-user belonging to that particular group logs into the portal, the resource appears hidden to the user.
For more details on these Portal Resources, refer to manual, Portal End-user’s Guide, section – Portal Resources

The mass RDP/VNC option helps to you to avoid the cumbersome job of
adding individual RDP/VNC links for different users. If configured, it shows the user only a particular RDP link that has been assigned in the .js text file. An example of this would be to create a single RDP portal application pointing to auto. Then edit the rdp_input.js file to list each employee and the name or IP address of a machine in the intranet so that it could be accessed via the secured private network.
Add Resource type: Windows File Share Basically, two types of Windows File Share Resources can be added via the dialog box: Add Resources o Share a System o Share a Folder
