When I came across this competition I thought this was a god opportunity to full fill some of my ideas I have had during the last years for neon light.
Concept / Context1.Political/communityIn Norway we have 9 months mature live when you have got a baby. And for the last months there has been a big discussion about if the father could be forced to take 3 of the 9 months.
2. Political/personalDaddy milk is my personal statement about the issue, 9 months ago we got a boy, and form December 2010 to April 2011, I am taking my responsibility by staying home with him.
Technique:White neon mounted on a ca. 10 cm. wide metal box frame. The neon/frame is mounted on a black painted metal frame made from 5 cm square metal tubes.
In the first sketch I wanted to let the milk spill follow the corner of the wall down to the 1.floor. But after reading the rules have a forced the idea in to the frame of the competition. But if it is possible, I still want to tilt the bottle like in the first sketch.
