This competes the set-up of the router and DVR to allow access on the local Network and over the Internet To access on the local Network enter the ip address of the DVR into Internet Explorer address bar as shown belowhttp://192.168.0.50 To access your DVR over the internet you will need to use the Static ip address supplied by your internet serviceprovider. If you have a Dynamic ip address (all domestic internet services are dynamic) you will need to use aDDNS service.DDNS as a method of constantly monitoring the ip address of your Internet connection. This is required becausemost internet service providers give you a temporary (Dymanic) ip address to use each time you connect to the internet, this can mean that your ip address changes several times each day, so you will not know what ip address to use when youwant to connect to your camera system. DDNS will allow you to connect easily as your router or DVR will report the ip address of your Internet service every fewminutes to your DYNDNS account. You will then be able to connect by using your DDNS host name (eg, mycctv.dyndns.org) by entering this instead of an ip address you will be automatically directed to the ip address of your CCTV without even having to go to the DYNDNS web siteSee next page for D.D.N.S. set-up
