Our mission is to prepare individuals of all ages for successful
employment in the ever-changing workforce of the region and beyond.
Why Should You Learn Phlebotomy?
Employment of Phlebotomists is expected to grow 27% from 2012—
2022, much faster than the average for all occupations. Due to the
growing demand, the complexity of laboratory testing and the need to
increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of healthcare,
phlebotomy has become a specialized area of clinical laboratory
practice that is in high demand.
Phlebotomy is a good pathway into the health care system. People with
excellent phlebotomy skills are in demand in hospitals, labs and doctors
offices. Patients always need blood tests, as, it is one of the most
common modalities to screen and diagnose disease.
