Designed to address the key concerns of highly reputed and experienced medical professionals, the JIVAJIVAJIVAJIVA has actuallyemerged to align with the recommendations of globally drafted “Consensus Papers”. The concerns centered mainly aroundVentilator Induced Lung Injury and Weaning. There were also concerns expressed regarding the safety of Non-invasiveventilation. The USIRU is designed for convenience. Users always have direct access to change any control settings. There are illogical settings alarms to prevent inadvertent wrong settings. Upto 10 monitored parameters are always visible. An event log and trends make for better practices for patient management. Based on Proportional Solenoid Technology, it enables precise gas delivery and economy in running costs. They avoid the need for filters on the exhalation limb that add significant resistance.

With a 10.4” TFT LCD, and a minimum tidal volume of 20 ml, it is also fully upgradable in future to the JIVA . It has 6 commonly used ventilatory modes including SIMV and Pressure Support modes.
