  • How can policy makers support youth-led solutions?

    • TRAINING: Capacity building workshops should beorganised for young innovators and researchers on how tocreate social businesses with their findings

    • MENTORSHIP: Intergenerational knowledge transfershould be promoted so that young people receiveguidance from senior experts

    • FUNDING: There should be grants for young people toimplement their water/sanitation projects

    • POSSIBLE SUPPORTERS: AMCOW, AfWA, AfDB, Reach forChange Africa, African Union, Ghana Water CompanyLimited, Safe Water Network, Water Satellite Network,Kumasi Hive.

Governments, industries and academia should work together to create the enabling conditions for young people to become water entrepreneurs.

Governments should be able to partner with youth initiatives in their countries to carry out water and sanitation services

It works!Young Water Solutions provides this support to its 19 Fellows, who are implementing solutions for 20K people in their communities
