“Travelling is not just a destination but a new way of seeing life” Located in the heart of Osaka, our Japanese language school is part of the fully accredited ECC College Group, which includes the College of Language Studies, Beauty and Fashion, and Computer and Multimedia. The ECC College Group has been around for over 30 years, and is recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education. If you want to learn Japanese, and experience Japan, there is no better place to start. Why ECC? Why Osaka? Osaka, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, is famous for it's down‐to‐earth citizens, and the colourful Kansai‐ben (Kansai dialect) they speak. Osaka is full of foodies who appreciate everything from extravagant international cuisine to cheap street‐vendor takeaways. The term, "kuidore", meaning eat till you drop, was coined to describe Osakans love of food. During your stay in Osaka, be sure to check out the hip youth culture and fashion on display in Amemura ( American Village ), the video game, anime, manga shops in Den‐Den town ( Electronic Town ), or the amazing view from Japan's highest building, Harukas Abeno right near Tennoji train station. Osaka is one of the safest cities in all of Asia, and as you might expect, has an amazing public transport system that is foreigner friendly, i.e. signs and announcements in English, to get you where you're going, with Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara just short rides away.
