About "Bible Islands"

Welcome to "Bible Islands", a virtual world for Christian children.

"Bible Islands" is aimed at enriching the child's world in Christian content, values and knowledge. It is a "clean" and safe environment for kids, violence free, commercials free.

"Bible Islands" is a state of the art popular tool especially designed for helping children aged 4-8 grow in their faith while playing, having fun and learning.

This guide will help you get to know the Bible Islands, the locations, adventures and activities in it, and the ever evolving content.

How to Login into "Bible Islands"1. Open Internet Explorer or any other Browser.2. Browse to www.BibleIslands.com3. In the page that opens click on “Play Now”

4. In the next screen that opens click on [add the button pic and the wodden board screen (empty board as seen in the very first entrance)].

5. On the next screen insert the username and password you choose. Please note: The password can be changed any time. The username cannot be changed.

6. Keep following the instructions until you complete the registration process.

Game IntroductionWhen going into "Bible Islands" for the first time, after login, you receive an introduction movie. The movie presents the first characters: Captain Kate, Tuki the parrot and Coco the crow. This movie also presents your first adventure (see below: "Bible Islands" Adventures) and your task in it. Listen to Tuki the Parrot – he will tell you what to do. Tuki is always there for you to explain and direct you: In any screen, at any time, you can click the question mark icon at the bottom of the screen, and Tuki will come out and give you instructions and hints to help you get along. The information is content sensitive and hence always relevant to the phase and location you're at. (Some say he is too chatty but he just wants to help…. He talks less as you go along.) … And now: The story begins!

From the portal the children can explore the following content areas:

Remark: Our educational approach is to introduce the virtual world gradually. Therefore, initially the child can access only Captain Kate's ship and the Island Square, then the Golden City, and then,

step by step, as the child works through the Adventures tasks, more locations are revealed and more activities and features are gained and added.


The Golden City – Christian content and activities

General DescriptionThe Golden City is where Christian content is presented in fun and appealing ways. Children can read, play and experience the wisdom of the Bible. Children can also learn about Jesus' life and times, in the Holy Land. Navigate between the different following content areas:


Grandpa's Home – games and activities with Bible contentThe bible is fun! This is the motto of this activity area. At Grandpa's home includes activities that present the child with the eternal wisdom of the bible. This location was carefully designed to nurture children's love for the bible, as well as enhance their curiosity and motivation to learn more about and from it. The bible comes to life with bible stories, interactive "Bible Heroes" collectors' albums and fun interactive activities with bible phrases and content.


The Golden CityGrandpa's HomeGames and activities with bible verses and stories; Bible heroes collectors albums; Hebrew learning activities. Grandpa's StudyLearn about the Holy Land: Jesus homeland, the place where it all begun.

The Bible Heroes Interactive Collectors' Albums Each album tells the story of a biblical character. The child can buy cards with his virtual coins, and stick them into the album. Each card is a part of the story. Once all the cards are collected, the central scene comes to life, and the child can watch and hear the whole story. Click on the blue doors of the desk cabinet to open this application. New stories are to be added on a regular basis.

Bible Activities "The Bible trivia game", "Complete the Verse", and more. To reveal a game, move youe cursor over the room and when it changes shape left click your mouse. The more you play and accomplish, the more activities you will discover…


Hebrew Learning Activities Hebrew is the language the bible was first written in. Learn the Hebrew alphabet. Click on the drawers of the cabinet at the left to play. There's a game in each drawer. Start with drawer 1 and proceed to the next drawers as you learn.


Grandpa's Study – all about the Holy Land, the place where it all begun

This area introduces the life and times of Jesus in the Holy Land, as well as the Holy Land today: Biblical sites and scenes, geography, history, and places of interest for pilgrims and tourists today. Initial activities include:

"In the footsteps of Jesus" – Jigsaw puzzlesPuzzles made up of pictures of important milestones in Jesus' biography. When a puzzle is completed, the player gets information about the site, and its significance to the life of Jesus. This activity includes 5 levels of difficulty. To play, click on the puzzle on the floor.


"A Tour to the Holy Land" – A memory gameSites and scenes from the Holy Land today, in a fun interactive memory game. The content includes holy and secular places of interest. This activity includes three different levels of difficulty. Click the cards on the table to try.

"Greetings from the Holy Land" – Creative Activity Here the children can design their own greeting cards based on the Holy Land scenery, sites and motives. The software program is interactive, easy to use and utilizes a variety of ready-to-use images related to the Holy Land. Pre defined phrases enable none and beginning readers enjoy this creative fun activity, too. Click the painting easel to experience.


The Island SquareThe Island center offers opportunities to share your experience with other players of "Bible Islands", in a safe and monitored environment.

The MuseumChildren can create their own creations and save them in their Personal Gallery Space in the Museum. They can share their creations with other kids by sending them to the Public Museum, where they can also watch creations done by other kids. Click the top of the tower to enter.


The Gallery for Changing Exhibitions The Gallery for Changing Exhibitions brings up new content every month: Exhibitions about Biblical art, Christian themes, and general art content. Click on the door at the basis of the tower to go in.

The StadiumHere the child can play with other kids who are currently at "Bible Islands". The best scores are shown in a special board. Click on the stadium at the left and let the games begin!


The Island Home

The island home is where children can relax and engage in expressing their own personality and preferences. Some especially beloved activities are:

Design your own characterYou can design the character that represents you according to your preferences. Who are you? Or who do you want to be? Click on the picture at the wall in the left screen.

Grow your own pet fishThe children learn to care and be responsible through growing their own pet fish. They can feed it, play with it, and make it happy by buying it some presents. Click the aquarium to meet your fish.


Redesign your homeThe rooms design can be changed by clicking on the switches at the left or the right corner of the rooms. Choose the one you like best!

Your Interactive Book ShelfThe interactive books application presents yet another fun way to enjoy the bible. You can choose your favorite Bible story from the shelf, watch and listen to it. Each book also includes awesome activities like puzzles, quizzes and interactive painting. New books will be added over time. Go to the right screen and click the shelf above your desk to choose a book.

More featuresThe music device, the art corner, the TV, and the kitchen are also features in the Island Home for the kids to discover or gain - and enjoy.

The Adventures conceptIn "Bible Islands" the children are always active. In fact, they are the heroes of "Bible Islands". While playing the games and activities in "Bible Islands", the child is called to help the characters solve problems and dilemmas by performing tasks such as finding and collecting items, gaining items through playing games, dealing with challenges, and so on.

The stories were developed around Christian themes and values. Each adventure includes a bible verse that reflects the main message of the adventure storyline. Each adventure begins with a cinematic clip, introducing the story and the child's task. Upon advancing towards completing the task, the child receives hints and reinforcement from the characters as well as enriching information about the adventure main theme. The adventures always end with a feedback from the characters: the problem is resolved and the characters warmly thank the child for his/her help.


Each adventure opens a new location or application for the child to explore and enjoy. This is another reinforcement the children get for their efforts and good deeds.

For example: In the first adventure, "The Keys to the Golden City", Tuki the Parrot wants to show Captain Kate the Golden City, but discovers that the keys to its gate were stolen by Coco the Crow. Players should find 4 keys (all hidden on the Tarshish, Captain Kae's ship) and collect them by clicking on them. Once they do, they can enter the Golden City and discover Granpa's home and study, and the various activities and games in them.

In the second adventure the child and characters collect materials to build the Island home – a cozy corner for the child to stay at whenever she/he visit "Bible Islands". In the end the child can enter and play in it.

In the third adventure the child is called to help some animals in danger of extinction that came to look for a refuge in the Bible Islands. After completing the adventure task, the child can enter Green Haven Sanctuary, and enjoy games and activities about animals, nature and environment.

And so on…

games that change over time. These activities are found inside the Surprise Boxes that are scattered all over

"Bible Islands". The Surprise Boxes concept's aim is to offer each child the games that best fit his/her age

level and areas of interest. Controlled by Adventure Island™ infrastructure, the Surprise Boxes offer new

games each session, chosen and replaced according to the child's and parents preferences as entered by

parents in the registration process, and according to the child's play patterns.
