1988 - 2010I ran my own medium sized Electrical Plumbing and General Maintenance Company for 22 years, we carried out work for Lancashire County Council and the N.H.S, I left the industry in 2010, for a change of direction. Work included running multiple projects of around £85,000 with 12 direct reports, plus multi-skilled subcontractors on site.

As a Director of the business I was also responsible for carrying out a full risk assessment for each site prior to any work being carried out and for the duration of the project, this included ensuring that all H&S compliance was adhered to.
