It gives us great pleasure to present MEDLAB Europe 2018, taking place from 2-4 October 2018 at the Fira Barcelona-Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain.
The second edition of the show will feature over 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest cutting edge technologies and recent developments in the medical laboratory industry. MEDLAB Europe will welcome more than 2,600 international visitors and delegates.
MEDLAB Europe is the only laboratory show in Europe that offers international manufacturers a chance to network with 1,000+ medical dealers and distributors from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal and much more.
Alongside the exhibition, the show will host 7 multi-disciplinary CME-accredited conferences over the 3 days firmly placing the show as the only multidisciplinary congress in Europe for the medical laboratory and diagnostics industry. The congress will cover a range of topics including Point of Care Testing (POCT), Immunology, Laboratory Management Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Microbiology, Haematology and an Advanced Pathology Workshop for Lab Technicians.
MEDLAB Europe is the only multidisciplinary diagnostics exhibition and congress in Europe for scientific learning and business networking. This assessment is based on analysis for Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and Portugal, which show that the developed European lab markets display a constant growth that is independent of economic cycles.
United KingdomAs private sector investment continues to increase in the medical laboratory market, the UK remains one of the top 3 largest markets in the region.
BelgiumIn 2015, the medical laboratory market grew by +3.1%, whereas reagent revenue growth was +4.0%. medical laboratory expenditures 2015 equalled €1,289 million.
GermanyWith a market value totalled at US$ 2.18 billion in 2014, the market recovered with an estimated value of US$ 2.22 billion in 2015.
ItalyEven in the face of economic constraints, the medical laboratory market was estimated at €1,635 million 2015
HungaryThe modernization of a number of hospitals supported by the EU were completed in 2015. A large quantity of medical laboratory instruments was purchased in the frame of this project valued 2500 Million HUF.
CroatiaTotal spending on medical equipment, surgical instruments, accessories, laboratory equipment and various supplies in Croatian hospitals in 2015 amounted to $200 million.
